Cloudy distillate usually looks clear still in a cart because it’s being spread very thin with a reflective surface as it’s backing (metal air tube in the middle) so it’s hard to tell in a cart unless it’s decently opaque in the jar.

Sorry, @cyclopath … I cannot follow this conversation well enough to know how to contribute.
I will say that azeotrope is also a verb that can be past tense. It is used that way in chemistry verbiage.
