Who makes your favorite hydrocarbon extraction system. What makes it your favorite over others?

What kind of unit are you running?

paslode de greaser

its my favorite as it comes from the local hardware store.

it leaves no residues on evaporation.

its non toxic

and most importantly …

it comes in a spray can that the pigs cant count as a lab solvent.

then any kind of flask with stirring will do and a buchner funnel

I like the idea of breaking the cell structure with dry ice as well so the chemicals
come out better.

Other China mfg’s? Please do share if so. Many cant afford a domestic ASME tank, nor a middled Chinese one, but perhaps its reasonable direct.

I’ve got a big ass system with 2 industrial chillers and I think it’s less than 15$ an hour but we pay like 4 cents per kwh

Why can’t touch science units be serviced in the USA? I’ve had a few go down over the years and had zero problems getting them fixed?

Where?

This is really discouraging. Care to share more? About to purchase one of these

I went to a CBD Expo in Las Vegas and saw this company called Luna Technologies.
The machine they were show casing was expensive, but it sure did look beautiful.

I cannot make any claims for their equipment, but they were nice people.

Very nice people.

Jack Naito, one of the owners of Luna, is one of the more professional people in the industry.

If your asking where I’ve had them serviced, in Oregon Oklahoma and one in Cali. But I didn’t have any trouble getting them fixed and Touch science paid the bill. There the only China chiller company I trust. USA labs equipment is kinda sketchy and their lack of extraction knowledge is worrisome.

In my opinion, best system for hydrocarbon!

Jack is the MAC. And he is a great person to work for too.

One of my favorite people in the industry besides Elliott and Tom

@anon16547145, valid response. I edited it for clarification. But we do back it up. The door is open for anyone that wants to come see one operate in person.

I ran one for a while. First one rated to 150 psi.

It’s a great concept but I experienced a laundry list of issues with it and had a lot of down time.

I saw Jack and Kyler frequently when they came down to repair the machine.

How long has it been since you last ran the machine?

Last fall

A lot can happen in a year.

The gentleman that operates the same machine at the facility you previously worked at is a big fan of ours. There have been a few improvements and upgrades that we have done over the past year to fix the bugs that some of the earlier machines may have had. From what I understand the machine you operated was one of our first machines. If you are open to checking out what we have done just let me know and I can get a tour set up so we can show you where we are at now and what we have accomplished over that past year.

Saying mike likes it isn’t a great co-sign. He has never ran another machine besides yours. He didn’t know how to extract when I was there and I can’t imagine much has changed. The product quality dropped drastically after I left.

I saw the most recent iteration of the I/O at mjbiz. I couldn’t spot many differences from what I ran. The voulumetrics were identical and I feel that was a major issue.
