Who has the best filtration membrane skids?

I have made it clear MULTIPLE times yes

I say it every day, you can check my most liked posts FFS.

I have been busy so I apologize for lack of response.

I am waiting until my main is unlocked to start using it again. Then this account will be dumped for the history books

Some of the pumps I have can hit 2k psi, they have others that will go higher

I dont currently have a membrane that can go that high though

Both membranes I use (ethanol or hydrocarbon) go to 1000 psi, idk if that could potentially work somehow

SPDKing has liked one of my posts

But no. He doesn’t pay me or endorse me. I made it as a meme/parody during the poll and was originally made only for that, until my main got muted. So I used this in a form of, not protest no but a way of showing censorship does not work. I don’t have malicious intentions or bad intentions no, I just like lurking and posting on here and helping as best I can. I look up to @spdking for his godness in distillation and experience in general and his no fucks given about what he says. He’s for the community and it just so happens there’s people who dislike his humor.

I’ve been in Dm’s with sidco and sidco cat, everything has been talked through. So please, stop making it a big deal/baiting me into this. I’m simply trying to learn and share whatever knowledge I have learned. Not start petty online drama. I have a troll sense of humor yes, and I do enjoy some trolling but I know my limits and after the poll about SPD’s ban, I left this account to use my main until it got muted, and knew my limits but I did push it a few times on this account and my other and I’ve learned from that.

I’m in works of making a new account specifically for my hemp brand and when @CapitalismSucks420 gets unmuted, on October 1st.

Thank you. Have a good day for now everyone. I will be lurking, only reply to certain DM’s

Also stop derailing threads, to everyone

Heres my hemp logo as well if anyone is curious

Little shoutout to the guy who does my design…

IDK about pneumatic dampeners but a dampener for an electric pump is not that expensive, its like saying a chiller to and FFE is to expensive, even if that was true you still need the chiller LMFAO

and pneumatic pumps dont work with membranes unless you have completely remove the pulsation to achieve a constant and steady flow. that’s like membrane 1O1.

I think he was responding to my wild goose chase. I’m trying to squeeze a parallelogram through a round hole.

you’re going to spend more money on replacing destroyed membranes than an electric pump, do it right is my advice this isnt a simple FFE heat + cold=money

I’m really hoping someone will tell me the stack of hsro4040ff membranes I have are useless, so I can go ahead and buy an electric and not waste the time getting to that point.

I also have the added benefit of the low end of my pump being 3000psi lol

I think the ratio is 250:1 or something on the motor

na pimp i watch the same IG video and it would run away hitting like 150 but it was all over the place

honestly not sure without more info, but ill bet you my lab that pulsation along with like a dozen other factors is going to effect your ā€œskidā€ and the end results. simple facts pulsing pressure force the membrane cells to expand and contract and that can very rapidly destroy 2k in membranes. less than 100 hours. you could run for a week and spend 4k in membranes. preety sure you could get an electric pump for like 7-15 depending.

Joel my membrane guy said he hates filmtek and there’s no consistency in quality

They sent him 24 membranes and 13 failed from the manufacturer then they fought him on the return

Pfizer really liked them (for water though) :man_shrugging:

Did they work at all?

I understand, I’m coming around to using the pump for it’s actual purpose. (Microfluidizer)

Actually if anyone here has any experience with membranes you can actually tell the Kotk skid is completely different. in fact all 4 membrane skids that ive seen have different operations and designee layouts they appear to be more or less independently developed not to say some didnt pull RO experts from other industries and that all designs are equals THEY ARE NOT

I say as see em pull up their shiny rigs and we do a live comparison cough cough extractorwars

not all solvents are the same, water is crazy easy to separate and your not technically doing the same thing, as water Ro can easily allow for pulsation ( think salt water, molaculer size and weight of salt and water are supper different, now look up our solvents and thc . but we are not permeating water are we

I get that. I’m only interested because the membranes mean nothing to me money-wise. I will make a teepee out of them this weekend if they are useless for what we do.

Honest to god i tried, 2000lbs first one done with testing, got bio mass the space and power for a weekend shit show of processing, never got a return call or email. My honest two cents 3 manufactures have solvent recovery skids some with the option to scrub some don’t.

only one skid is turn key scrub and recover. i wouldn’t put my skid head to head if i had one.
