Who has the best filtration membrane skids?

Lemme see what I can do, I’m pretty sure my client wouldn’t mind having you out

Sounds good bro! You can DM me when you hear back

I feel ya & can respect the reservation. I did not mean to call you out in a negative way

I am down to buy one through you though. Obviously your research is further ahead than mine, I’m still piecing together my skid.

Starting with heptane recovery but n-butane is the goal.

Oooof, what’s your deal man? Just kicking me while I’m down?

I’ve given you plenty of positive support on the forum, why you gotta bring this toxic-ass school yard bully energy sometimes? It really doesn’t make me look as bad as it makes you look.

Maybe as a small business owner you just could just be more respectful to other people in the same boat. Maybe just have a bit of decency and DM this stuff to people instead of putting on blast.

You could’ve just showed off how good your product is, or thrown up some numbers. But nah, you just gotta keep doing this same garbage. If I was a customer, looking at two very similar products at competitive prices, your attitude would definitely turn me off :man_shrugging:

It’s not a good look.

P.s. vape carts never came up on any of the evidence info, so super good sleuthing there ace

It’d be fun to read a discussion about membranes that doesn’t involve one individual flinging feces at the other two members of the membrane gang while they mostly politely ignore him.

Is KOTK the new elliot? Since Elliot’s been pretty dang pleasant since he returned.

That is not Elliot. And this is the exact bs I’m trying to get @SPDKingAlt to help prevent, but he won’t.

@SPDKingAlt you should change your profile or just stop using the account.

Nope.

Once open sourced, there is no “stealing”…

Don’t disagree with holding the ID of those membranes close while you can.

Just reiterating that “open source” means “ain’t nobody got ownership now bitch!”

Just got tracking for the hydrocarbon membranes!

Hopefully I’ll have them next week sometime

Ptfe is hydrocarbon safe

So basically what you’re looking for in these membrane for our applications is that the materials are OK to handle the solvents we are putting through them and then it’s down to pore size?

And good permeance. A membrane might be compatible with the solvent (i.e. doesn’t break down), but not actually be able to permeate it at an acceptable rate.

Just to throw another competitor into the space, I have heard https://www.membranepc.com/ is making units in the hemp space now. I haven’t seen their hemp units but they make some big boys in dairy!

That’s the flow rate for membrane? As in what permeates through the membrane?

You also need to make sure all the glues are compatible

Right. Like for instance HTF200 from permeonics is compatible with ethanol, in the sense that if you soak it in ethanol for a month, no deterioration will result. It also has a cutoff that excludes cannabinoids well. However, it permeates extremely slowly, so it’s not worth using.

Have we done much in the way of research for membrane/glue compatibility with the array of Terps we have in there?

Or is anyone testing for leeched glue compounds in final extracts?

Always a bit of a question in my mind.

Membranes compatible with ethanol may very well not be compatible with the terps. luckily they are a lower percentage of the solution and have a minimal residence time however its a VERY good concern to have and be thinking about.

I’d love to have one that I could push CO2 crude through…

Especially the terp strip fraction.
