@Sidco_Cat @Lincoln20XX Thanks for being humble and helpful without ego or a hint of frustration.
Holy shit the list is endless!
I had a stroke about 14 months ago, and I could not read.
I mean I could see the words, but the sentence was a bunch of words.
I started on the hospital reading future and not remembering anything I already knew. I was crying
I went to the MRI and the lady asked me what kind of music I liked…I had to ask my friend, and she said the Grateful Dead…how could I forget that? But I’m the MRI I knew all the words!
Anyways, reading future helped me be able to comprehend what I was reading.
Eventually some people helped me remember other shit, and I am back at mostly full capacity(I forget simple shit sometimes)
But people who helped me remember and explained simple shit to me, I’ll never remember!
Eventually I’ll get back into the lab again, but for now I’m just trying to deal with extreme back issues waiting on a different MRI approval…
Anyways thanks to everyone. Thanks to people who know lots and thanks to the people who don’t know but ask questions so others can answer. Thanks to people who explain shit simply. Thanks for all the people who have helped me out,
It’s great to hear that you are recovering more and more! I appreciate your presence here, because you are real, your friendly, and you ask great questions that help keep the conversation going in a productive direction. You seem like a good dude, and definitely bring a good vibe. Thanks for being a part of this amazing community!
Reach out your hand if your cup be empty
If your cup be full, may it be again
Let it be known there is a fountain
That was not made by the hands of men
Dank you very much!
When I sit down at my desk in the mornings that song is almost always the first thing I do. It is really hard to be twisted up after sitting and listening … no matter how shiddy things are
I love this thread:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
I had the pleasure of having a meal with @THCFarms about two weeks ago. Not my place to share his story but he (and his wife) are salt of the earth type people. Could’ve stayed and easily chatted for hours if I didn’t have to get on the road home.
i have upped my game since on here. I think bg 305 helped kick my but in gear showing his garden he did call me a cop when i asked about it tho
Thank you @GasLogix-Adam. It was a great pleasure spending time with you and your wife. I look forward to meeting more of the Future4200 family and having meaningful conversations about life and our love of all things Cannabis related.
@DapperDabMan sent me a smoked turkey!!!
Never in a million years did I think he would send me a smoked turkey for Christmas. He’s a solid dude and someone I’m thankful to call a friend.
It takes an incredibly kind and awesome dude to do such a nice thing. Thank you!!
THE EAGLE HAS LANDED.
Some more of you might have some birds or other goodies en route…
Is this a feasible option, @StoneD?
Let’s get down to brass tacks & talk some turkey.
We have that exact Turkey every Thanksgiving and Christmas… for over 15 years now… even the years we smoked our own, we still had one of those
Your in for a treat my friend… for sure…
Sad story… their production facility burnt to the ground just before their 2020 Thanksgiving rush… so last year was all on me… and I killed it.
I’m just wondering what everyone’s doing for the “under the table sell black market”
How should I prepare it? Just cold? On sandwiches?
I’m ignorant, please educate
Cant go wrong shredding some white meat for sandwiches.
I’m curious, did it get all the way to your house frozen?
When we get ours, there still frozen. It’s only 1.5 hours away and they overnight them.
What you dont want to do, is to keep it frozen untill the day needed.
The Turkey needs to be refrigerator temp the morning you plan on cooking, your really just heating this up.
2 - 3 hours before warming it up, place on counter to get close to room temp.
When your ready to warm it up, make sure you add water in the bottom of the pan and COVE AIR TIGHT with tinfoil or if you have a big enough Turkey pan with a lid…
The important thing is not to dry it out as you warm it up.
Super easy…
Ours normally takes close to an hour but is totally dependent on how many times we open the oven for other dishes…
I love this so much!
I have to admit, that be a pretty badass gift. Especially out of the blue.
Edit… remembering back now, we’ve actually had these Turkeys each holiday for over 25 years…
