I was going through some old photos on my phone and remembering some interesting moments where a jerry-rigged fix had to be done in the middle of a process. I want to see your “the show must go on” stories and pictures.

The dip tube to my little hobby sized solvent tank is some ptfe tubing I stripped from the steel sleeve, heated and formed till it was straight(ish) and jambed into the underside of a lid. Works great to this day.

DIY Closed Loop Extractor

[IMG_20191208_003721] [IMG_20191208_003708] You can upgrade to a 2 port cap like this. The dip tube is a piece of ptfe tubing that’s fitted into the npt port so it doesn’t come out. It works really well for being ghetto rigged lol. Took the price out, not sure what size your tanks are, that was for a 4" cap.
