What would happen if I was a mobile delta8 vendor on the street?

Hey guys long time no talk etc etc I been busy … anyway!

So I have this idea.

So could I be a traveling street vendor that sells delta8 carts? Suppose I obtain a Transient Vendors License. I should then legally be allowed to sell carts in a public area, correct! I plan to have a little mobile display desk and a couple large signs .

I’m in Ohio, so delta8 is still legal here as far as I know.

I do have a lawyer on retainer for a smooth 5k so that’s covered but i’d rather not have a case. I know a lot of these questions I should ask my lawyer but he’s not really a business lawyer.

My plan B if this isn’t possible, is to just sell display boxes with like 30 pcs in each one, to all the ghetto corner stores and such.

Most transient vendor permits are for non incorporated area’s so cities wont work. Things may have changed but thats how we got by at nelsons ledges, hookahville etc for yrs. Eitherway there a great way to be a 1099 sub contractor

Okay, so I can only sell in parks and such, not on the sidewalk anywhere in a city? I really would like to set up on the sidewalk outside some bar areas.

In my city, a mobile vendor can be parked and doing business for 30 minutes without any special licenses. Maybe check if there’s any clever loopholes

yea but the license is only 25$. I’ll try to take a look but I’m not the best at reading fine print about business legalities

edit: can’t find shit on city policy, the vendor license is for the entire state but idk how to find the specific restrictions

If you let people sample the carts somehow on site, and sold delta 8 carts you would make plenty of sales. Probably get arrested though. Grey area is pushing it, seems like a borderline bad idea, but it’s not stupid if it works right?

damn you think? I was think of doing exactly that , letting people get one good hit. I don’t wanna do this if I’m gonna get all my shit seized and arrested tho

I’m willing to put in the salesman work if it’s do-able

and again if anything I can just sell bulk display boxes with my own custom brand and 50pcs to corner stores and shit

Can’t really add anything meaningful, but what’s the msrp on a d8 cart?

I’m assuming it’s all 1ml, or are people buying 1/2ers too?

I have 2 product ideas, a 0.3ml ccell disposable pen for 9.99, or a 1ml cart available in 5 different flavors for 14.99, no battery included

Do you already have packaging lined up?

For the “free” samples, maybe to avoid the grey area, give our coupons or something for a dollar disposable?

I’m just now getting everything ordered in, currently 100x 0.3ml ccell disposable clamshell, and 100x round tip 1ml cart clamshell. I just need to finish designing the card insert to pop into the clamshells!

thinking of 100 pcs of the disposables, and then also wipping up 200pcs of 1ml carts. I got 7.5oz of disty incoming and a whole bunch of other goodies. 2oz from skyhio, 2oz from bulkdisty, 3.5oz from Reefers bay

Youll have to check now this was 15-20 yrs ago when i had one there and it was only good in the county not inside city limits. Ask the place that will issue it to you or google it. It might be allowed in certain towns or cities

if it’s legal to sell in the stores then what’s illegal about selling it on the street with the proper licensing? transient vendor license is for those vendors selling taxable retail goods in temporary locations
