What would happen if I was a mobile delta8 vendor on the street?

lol I’m from Clearfield. That store is a combination deli, small grocer, shoe store, and smoke shop

Reading the article it is pretty obvious why this kid was arrested. Just look at him. Also it seems he made no attempt to clarify his products were hemp derived and legally compliant . Worst case all his charges are dropped after the stuff is tested and is under 0.3% delta 9

Actually worst case would probably be being murdered in prison or something?

except it isn’t

how? if his stuff tests under 0.3 delta9 and he did not falsely advertise the product, he was selling hemp derived products. Hemp products are legal to sell in his state . He literally did not sell any controlled substance , all the charges are acting like it’s controlled substance when it is not @pdxcanna. Once it’s proven he wasn’t actually selling a controlled substance none of the charges can stick

There’s like zero delta 8 carts that are legit below the d9 limit… any non diluted delta 8 product (dab, pen)is undoubtedly hot, you should double test that disty you are buying, or just turn a blind eye to it like the others

One of the many reasons I don’t mess with d8

the disty i’m buying is all tested to be good supposedly. I’d have to do my own tests to be sure though which is annoying

Just because it has a label slapped on it dont mean squat. Most d8 carts have a COA with them to prove they’re legal. Almost none are actually what the COA says they are.

Be 100% honest and you will stand out among the smoke shops and gas stations

Its a terrible business model to try to f with the cops. Dont give them a reason to mess with u in the first place. If you provoke them they will bite. Theyre like dogs in that sense.

Even if the stuff tests at <.3 doesnt mean he didnt get arrested, car impounded, lost time (profits) etc.

“my stuff got taken and i got it back” isnt a great marketing tactic either way

Keep in mind your lawyer bill to have all charges dropped will more than likely well exceed what you will make if it goes south.

Very true. That $5000 dollar retainer isn’t gonna cover that. If you have a lawyer that tells you it will, ask nicely for your retainer back, then quadruple that number at least when you go shopping for a more competent attorney. You will be paying many other people in your defense with the money you give your attorney, and none of them will be cheap.

Well how do these online vendors avoid getting raided by their local police then?

Maybe I could just go online and offer cool ass deals and promotions to get my foot in the door and stand out . I’m not gonna waste my time being a mobile vendor if I’m instantly gonna be arrested even if I’m not doing anything illegal

mail and financial investigations take time

Safest bet seems to be selling edibles diluted down to compliance. Seems like a good business considering the weight of a brownie square…

Get a COA to CYA. Get a really good lab to do the COA to keep your ass from prison

thank you for advice any labs you recommend and what is this gonna cost? @tokesandtinkery

@kcalabs is well respected around here.

I imagine you’ll spend a few hundred on the tests (assuming your first one doesn’t come back the way you want)

I just emailed them, thank you . My Disty is already supposed to be under the limit but i’ll double check

$10 it’s more like 5%d9 if not 3-5 times that
