What tanked the market more?

I’d say it’s the lack of Tegridy

At home d8/d9 tests could go a long way towards raising prices of clean d9 oil. Like the dancesafe kits

I’m totally ignorant as to if that test is doable but a guy can dream

The price on a portable HPLC system is still at $30-35k. I can’t think of a cheaper way to accurately differentiate d8/d9. Maybe a cheap GC system? But why bother when you can have the real deal.

Markets always been tanked.

If your not in a regulated market then your working in a niche micro-economy where your buyers can’t openly find other options.

As new options arise, there is always someone who will take less and have different flavors to try.

The free-market paradox. Let all play and “play” they shall. :joy:

I relate 1000% with @thumper, I stay in CA because my grandmother. Funny to see someone else say that. :clinking_glasses:

What if that was their plan all along when they passed the farm bill ::

So here’s the game plan over the next few years

2018 make hemp legal

2019 pass off coronavirus as vitamin e.

2021 cigarette CEOs asking Britain to make cigarettes illegal

2026 cigarette companies fuck us in the ass, without the common decency to give us a reach around

Agree with my edit? I think if it was all just straight high quality it would only add to consumer choice, serve different tastes but admittedly, right now making quick buck is all that seems to count.

I remember old articles claiming weed was the most stable commodity. It was steady for decades. when I started smoking an 1/8 was 15 or 20 for schwag or mids 20 years later an 1/8 was 20 Now at the store its 60 and black market its 15 for dank. Its oversupply

Its all due to enforcement. The difficulty is much lower, so the payout is lower.

I still havent ever been in a dispensary. But i hear its 120 a quarter for smalls. the dude may ask for that because he has a physical disability that makes it harder to break up.

I buy boutique flower that gets close to that. It’s been a while since a $60 Oregon rec ounce was worth a shit imo

When they came back with a fully converted d9 liter from hemp, that’s the same week I sold my whole distillate lab.

You have to adapt or else, get left behind. HTE edibles and fire Live Rosin will be the future I’m thinking ( i.e. When you have a Vanilla Kush hte going into a custard in replace of vanilla bean. ) I’ve been playing around with it lately and having the wife cook it up in the kitchen.

I was one of those that use to make fun of Rosin guys, until I paid for a consult ( thanks for the reference @THChemist ) and started to understand how Rosin is broken down. I would have to say, Live Rosin Jam is the shit. Pricey, but that’s what doing new things will get you. $$$

I give it six months, maybe a year and he’ll be back on the butane sauce.
