What strains are you currently hunting for a keeper?

Ah NO. I’m a vegan when it comes to penis.

Where is some of that good ol Hash plant? Had some about 5 years ago.would love to press some of that.it was a don’t even waste time rolling a joint of it situation, It’d just turn wet noodle with res after 4-5 pulls. I just remember a bowl clogging, joint resinlogging tasty mind melting disaster to deal with. I’ve also smoked 1g of some White Russian that completely off switched me the terps breaking it down got me light headed definitely the dankest dank i’ve danked so far.

If you want a bad azz strain for rosin pressing, I had a god bud strain I hunted thru a pack about 4yts back. This strain killed any and every strain i ever grew, for rosin only.

It was super super speedy. If I put 3.5g flower in, I’d get on average a 20%+ return every time.

I did a strain purge 2yrs back and ditched about 10 strains. GB was one of them.

I’ve got a grapefruit pheno of god bud. Shit stinks

I’ve got a PBB from thugpug and Wilson f2 from Masonic going right now from seed. Grabbed a sundae driver clone from next gen nurseries and a blueberry cut from archive to fill out the tent since I’m only hunting a couple at a time. I also recently got in touch with Kyle kushman and I should be getting a cut of his strawberry cough soon

With the abundant availability of killer proven clones I don’t see the logic in popping seeds unless growing is a hobby to you.

If you grow for a business then you have to familiarize yourself with the term “opportunity cost”. When it comes to seeds or unproven genetics this is the exact thing that is going on. You are gambling that the unproven will do better than the proven.

Obviously without people popping seeds there wouldn’t be this abundance of great clones. But why are YOU popping seeds? Does the value of a strain only you or an unknown amount of others (they makes lots of packs of seeds when they pollen chuck nowadays) outweigh what that amount of square feet would produce with a known genetic?

I’m all about the chase for Terps. I’m with you though, I’d rather trade people my fire cuts for theirs. This methodology has been incredibly fruitful!

I pop freebie seeds only. My genetic pool is too deep to purchase seeds any longer.

Also, dropping $$ on a legit cut is no biggie to me. As long as its legit and from someone I can trust.

I remember I dropped 400 on the OG gg4 clone back in 2012 or 2013 (I forgot which yr). That strain made my $ back 10 fold.

Make it blue cookies and sure fire OG also.

Buy clones/teens and pop beans for the thrill. Buisness is Buisness, it’s strickly financial.

I’m popping em for the thrill of the hunt. Takes up 1/4 of my limited flowering space on the high end, but efficiency isn’t the point or I wouldn’t even bother with an indoor micro grow

It’s a great hobby.

So you beleive that only Cap or Jbeezy king of the hermies produces exotic crosses?

Depends what you consider exotics.

Since we are talking buisness this isnt a personal choice or what i consider exotic. The customer dictates the market place. Mac for the first breeder and and strain ending in Cake for the second.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for clones in Colorado? I recently moved to the state and am eager to get a home garden going.

I’ve had success in the past with ordering feminized seeds from overseas companies like Barney’s Farm, Dinafem, Sensi Seeds, T.H. Seeds, etc, and I still have a bunch left over from my last order that I am going to get started (wedding cake, tangerine dream, NL#5, Critical XXL, C99, and a few others), but I agree that popping seeds is always a crap shoot and I would like to put some tried and true genetics in my garden as well.

I know that I can grab clones from a dispensary like LaContes, but I have heard so many nightmare stories of dispo clones being lousy with mites or just garbage quality that I am nervous to go that route.

Willing to trade some feminized seeds from Amsterdam if anyone has any good cuts/clones they want to swap for beans.

Picked up Cherry Gorilla today. Its supposed to be some :fire::fire::fire:

Oh man @BG305 cherry strains are hot.

I’m doing cherry garcia from Ethos, but the sleeper was Traverse City Cherry (A Michigan Cherry Pie x strain) that went crazy on yield. I wish I would have taken clones.
