What is this and how is it made “ice caps”

Okay but who can produce stuff like this

I was making about 40k Grams every two weeks of this in a Rec Market.

It’s a cool product, especially if done correctly and not just turning mids flower into a sellable product.

You have to use dense flower to avoid heavy loss in manufacturing on a bulk level. My CoAs were around 70% Cannabinoids

I have always thought that moon rocks are lame, but that’s just my personal opinion, a lot of people like them. However, from an objective standpoint I must say, this product has a visual appeal that moon rocks are lacking and that’s kind of cool.

I’m surprised that you’re surprised by this

Well, I’m not surprised that companies want to sell dog shit. Still waiting for proven data showing that this product is profitable though. I’ll be surprised then.

Basically 1:1 Flower to Concentrate :joy:

Yeah, unfortunately they gained a bad rep because so many people use the tech to cover up shit weed. But if you do it right, match the Flower, Oil and secondary Concentrate the Flavor is Crazy. Especially if you use it’s live resin, then you really get to taste the full terpene range of the strain.

Here is a nug from one of my favorite batches. Jar appeal was :fire:

Creating unique products in a flooded market is how you stick out. Even if some feel it’s “gimmicky”, well honestly that’s actually part of the reason it sells. People find them interesting or weird looking. So like infused joints, people eventually buy just to show others and say they tried it. So if you actually make either a quality product, not just use it as a method to boost Cannabinoids in boof, people will keep buying it.

Don’t make dog shit and you’re not selling dog shit
As for profitablity, that’s easy you just charge more than you paid to make it :joy: As far as is it a “big seller” That depends on the Market. It areas with large demographic of people who’d rather smoke than vape/dab, they do very well. Especially if you are producing or sourcing your materials at a good price and can keep your manufacturing costs and product loss down.

People love to break these up for joints & blunts. As it’s an easy, less messy way to give them that extract concentrate kick.

CoGs: $4 per Gram
Wholesale: $8 Per Gram
Retail: $16 Per Gram

So I was able to retail them for about the same price as top shelf flower in some markets. Was making 50k grams per batch, every two weeks in a Rec Market. They’d still sell out :smiling_imp:

Try not to take offense with my position on this. I’m honestly not even relevant and don’t work in the industry anymore, was mainly asking for data out of curiosity and calling it dog shit because well… Look up what white dog shit looks like

With that said, I appreciate you giving me a lil sample of your data. Makes sense that certain areas will eat it up, I can’t blame you for trying to innovate in your market.

I guess I’ll ask what state are you in and do you find that this product is well received by returning customers, or does it essentially just attract new customers? By that I mean the actual consumer and not the middleman/retail outlet. I can understand if you don’t have access to that data specifically.

I can make a gram of powder thca cheaper then I can buy a gram of fire weed, take 30-25% of the nugs out of the lb add missing amount in thca powder

Fire lb = $1100@ 2.45 a g
Substitute THCA powder cost $0.80-$1.10 per gram

Packs sell at 15-1600

Yeah moonrocks have been around since the legal industry began. The word innovation is a huge stretch. I remember buying moonrocks (made with kief) before even getting into the industry. It was cool and all but I never bought them again after that one time lol

Oh I didn’t take it offensively or anything. Everyone has different preferences. Years and years ago Caviar ruined the reputation of MoonRocks anyway. It was something fun and weird to do, then they flooded the market with shit weed covered in black oil and dark kief. Their “caviar gold” it was such garbage many people started assuming all moon rocks were trash :person_shrugging:
