What do people know about heavy metals in butane ?

There are heavy metals in propane and butane… what can be done to remove them ?

Make you own gas conditioner :joy:

If running closed loop are you running just the solvent with out material first so all the mystery oils and contaminants you can clean out of your collection pot.

Hit up Solvent Direct and let one of their salesmen talk your ear off about their decontamination process.

They clean each container, every time. Or so they claim.

Cannabis is a well known hyperaccumulator, capable of removing heavy metals from the soil. Thus we should use bho as a growing medium to remove the heavy metals from the oil in a post extraction process.

Field grade would be butane or propane used for heating a house, or for your grill. Industrial and medical are the gas grades you want to work with. This is actually an interesting topic I’ve discussed with many lab technicians. A ton of awesome info here as well.

Since the OP has a read time of 1min I’m going to really go out on a limb here and say use the search bar. :man_facepalming: There is a link to a study done by a respected individual. Try reading it. @CornelForbin
