My buddy got fujitsus and they suck
I think they’re making things (or attempting to make) so efficient now that they struggle to perform their main purpose

Thats what my lil bro said. He was do alot of daikens? He was saying lots of parts and compressors the same? Im not the expert on that but what i was told
Yes that fixed the scale issue by using reservoir. I do think led is next. Ordered a couple 1930e to test before I go all out
You’re gonna love the 1930’s
I bought a apogee MQ500 to be able to read ppfd and lix.
How many umol or ppfd is a good number? I use co2
My gavita de inrun 8ft off the ground. About 6ft plants . Can 1930 be fine in same light position? I have like 12 de now so good over lap. 4ft apart
For the folks looking into adding UVB I recommend these 4’ fluorescent bulbs:
https://www.growagromax.com/products/t5-grow-lamps/t5-pure-series/816-2/
75% UVB and 25% UVA (and no uvc). UVB is what you want. Its easy to add these on either side of your lights, they don’t penetrate deep though. I highly recommend getting them close to the canopy and using them for short periods, turn them on for 1-5 mins a couple times a day. Until LED catches up on UV this is a cheap option.
My only AC related advice is don’t waste your money on a portable dual hose unit, if you have minimal needs go with the window unit style. I wish I could install a minisplit but I’m renting and would need an electrician etc… some day.
Price?
I’ve been through multiple iterations of UV lighting. Starting with CFL/gas lamps and moving onto Kessil H380, Mammoth UV bars, and finally custom fixtures. Those gas lamps DO NOT work as well as a well built LED. Anyone that wants to try out of spectrum I suggest trying to find a few Kessil H380’s they offer an amazing UV and FR spectrum. They come in at 90watts and have 3’ of penetration. Also. There is an effect when you combine both far sides of the spectrum. UV AND FR as singular additions are meh… Together… Boing.

$99 for a 4 pack of the 4 foot bulbs.
LED is the future and better than other light sources in all aspects except price. Apparently it is costly to product UV with led diodes, that Kessil 380 is $300 for 90 watts and covers a 2’ square, albeit much better penetration into canopy (3’). I would recommend this light in a heartbeat but it looks like it is discontinued… buy em if you find em I guess.
Yikes 300 for the kessil. I hope it works good. That’s for addition light with full spectrum led?
Im about to pull the trigger on the 1930es. How far above the canopy do they need to be. I know its strain specific but just general. I have 9’ ceilings.
Iv been keeping with the 3ft above canopy, if u get much closer than 2ft I started to bleach the tops
