Weird white balls forming in distillate.

So then, whatever it is can precipitate at less than 20%?

Also, gauging the volume of the oleoresin in comparison to the precipitate, that looks like at least 25% of the total volume, probably more.

My only hypothesis is maybe it was mixed very little during transfer from the recover to the storage flask. Could be 10a layer drop on last (the balls are on the bottom of storage container) 10a tends to come over late in the run so it would be on top of the reciever flask, and bottom of storage container.

The drops like nature make me think it is from the transfer, if it is truly crystallization.

But like I said I wish it was not crystal and was microbacterial, that would make the most sense. Round crystals with that cannabinoid blend are hard to explain.

I have sent a sample out for testing and awaiting the test results. I will post an update when I get them back.

This is one of the many situations where having a microscope in the lab could really come in handy.

Also, just wanted to ask, CBD is heavier than THC, no? So given enough time, couldn’t it be possible that the CBD is moving toward the bottom and increasing in concentration enough to start crystallizing?

Looks like crystalline

Did you ever get those test results?

When you say you came across old distillate how old would you say? The previous year? 2 years?

I don’t understand why everyone thinks you have to have 70% of one molecule for it to crystallize. There are ways to accomplish crystallization of a molecule that is under 50% concentration especially with long periods of time. In time, things naturally fractionate creating pockets of “high purity”

It’s delta 10. I got the same thing. Isolated that and smoked it. It’s the best pain killer. Immediate relief before exhale. Gets you high as a mountain goat too. It will not crash out when forming isolate and can be achieved through isomerazion. My peer has achieved this and shared the information and data. I’m waiting to see if the test I sent out confirms it. It is according to my field tests.

Compare D10 to D9 more psychoactive? Less? Definitely worth vaping as a rec drug in countries where weed is illegal but D10 isn’t?

Definitely head high. Feel pressure on the top of your head and get really chatty for a few minutes

Made this the other day with isolate recrystalization

I was wondering what happened some was a beautiful fine powder the rest were little snow balls hard as can be , i use an overhead stirrer and the reactor with chiller 20 min and bam these popped up unfortunately only about 96% , you may have seen my other post about it.

If I can stop the balls from forming and keep it powder like i can only imagine pure isolate powder no crushing and an easy wash

Any chance D10 is available in or near Ohio? I’d love to try it and experiment with it

It’s worth vaping but the vaporization point is higher then cbd or thc imo so it messed up my pens. A proper battery would’ve fixed this. I just dab it and it is psychoactive but mild. Now after a couple beers it got really wild. I discovered this and tried it unsuspecting on my friends without giving them and heads up about the reaction I experienced when mixed with alcohol. They all gave similar responses to each other that it felt like molly. Far more effective dabbed too. It’s super interesting

Sorry for the late update. We got busy and this sat on the back burner for quite some time. I got around to pulling a sample, it turns out to be CBD. This distillate is over 2 years old, and the distillate was in a cold area of the lab. Because of the viscosity at that temp over this period of time, we believe this is the reason it formed these balls.
