That looks awesome! Good work, when ur doing hot scrubs, id get it tested just to double check it didnt go into d8. Column style warm or cold will never isomerize in my experience. But ive done careful work on scrubbing and still somehow got some isomerization from time to time just an fyi

Red ring form as O2 diffuses into the material.
As it is formed, the red product also diffuses into the material.
If you slow down both O2 and product, the red ring stays close to the surface and gets more intense.
In addition, one observe a ring (rather than a disc) as the diffusion of O2 appears faster at the interface between the container and the material, than in the material itself. That interface offer even wider space as the material slighlty shrinks with cooling down…

I’m about to get some clear D9 disty for my carts I have never worked with it. I currently use just golden disty with my cart farm filling gun to fill carts do I need this so called glovebox to fill with the clear or can I do it same way I’ve been doing it with the gold? Thanks in advance
Its the same. Test small batches for your terps. Everything has to be perfect in water clear, or it will cloud or streak.
So the percentage I have for gold on terps won’t be the same on clear ?
Same %. Not all terps homogenize the same.

currently using 7.5% with steam stilled. terps pass through better imo than with golden.
interested to see how CO2 terps that are a bit more yellowish come out.
1st pic is distillate from crc bho and i definitely could have made it way clearer with more crc
2nd pic is 2nd pass dist from 3rd soak room temp etoh crude, no water washing but ran 1st pass through magsil

Plastic syringes belong nowhere near distillate and terpenes

follow future’s pesticide remediation sop. and you definitely get a lower yield but it’s because the dist is so pure. You won’t loose much thc as long as you flush with clean solvent enough
@RedundantAlexithymia That definitely had no terps ive never had a problem with thc leeching plastic… the rubber stopper expands if you suck pure botanical terps into a plastic syringe but i don’t use botanical terps anymore
