he’s saying that a centrifuge that is actually rated for the task cannot be had for less than about $10k, and that is the used price on a BOCK 755. $15k if it’s actually been reconditioned.
you can find machines that are not clothes dryers, that are mostly up for the task in the $10-15k range, but there are a number of things that you’ll need to do to get them rated.
in some jurisdictions they won’t fly without a 3rd party engineering report. good luck getting one of those for less than $15k. especially if you don’t have any engineering documentation from the OEM.
