Vape jet is worse company ever

I will say on Vape Jet’s behalf that I had one of the most interesting interview experiences in my life through them. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and hope to see them continue to better their processes in all areas throughout the coming years.

I guess you have to be a fucking engineer to operate this dumb ass 35k machine

If its not disclosed, which im sure its buried in fine print, he just opened himself up to lawsuits up the wazoo. I can understand error reports being sent back ,if agreed, but to have a log of every time the machine is used is def invasion of privacy, right?

So DDS has custom milled trays that can be used for any cart type, we currently fill 5-6 different cart types on the machine. Each “Jig” just goes into place on the filling table and locks in place whatever type of cart your using you just change the program to match the cart type.

They have also used the cart filler for infusing joints now as well succesfully with a “Jig” that holds the joints.

If you didn’t like a new car you bought after a few months would you just park it at the dealership without saying anything and expect a full refund?

I’m curious to see what kinda damage you did to them, the fluid path is $$$

It sounds like a really easy way to get demonstration videos. You won’t believe how hard it is for people to pick up a camera for 150 seconds

As you can see they said they were gonna refurbish and resell it but I was told to clean it and ship it back my fault for not communicating but they could’ve easily shipped it right back also, they did in fact receive it so now I didn’t communicate with them gives them the right to do whatever with the machine I guess… all I’m saying is great customer service I already chalked this up as a lost of vape jet wants to do right by me then they will. A 28k refund if one machine is a slap in the face tbh

@VapeJet already stated that they don’t respect floridians enough to continue to respond but I would like to hear what was wrong with the machines as well

I assume you are being sarcastic. Seems like just another way to invalidate you if an issue arises. They can search footage and find any reason to invalidate some clause in the agreement to not reimburse them. Glad to hear you refund without much of a fuss. Our filling machine stinks. We return it every year and they blame us for normal filling and bill us for new PIDs. Anywho…

Truth.

And it should be known that people in the cannabis industry are known to be intoxicated or work through the night and that leads to putting things away beat up and wet, without service or maintenance untill it doesn’t run on next day. Went I send hardware back I make sure to clean it with solvent and strip out any kind of residual or issues that would lead to a warranty repair going sideways. At the end of each use I clean everything religiously. It’s easy to blame others when you make mistakes, but once you are not responsible with the process or policies and send things back in such a condition you are at the mercy of the OEM I suppose. Open that door and it will slap you on the way in.

Part of the agreement was to come out and put it together and show us how to use it, after one visit because of working conditions they didn’t want to come back after we spent 120k? Sounds about right, even if I had you in the slums of opa locka there shouldn’t be any bitching about conditions, you were paid to come put together and show us how to operate it, he’ll your installer probably sabotaged it because of your shitty business model

They’re spending about 5k to break equipment and will post at end Of work day so they don’t have to respond rest of the day. It’s bewild that it takes 4 2 month old used machines to make 1 refurbished machine

Classic Portland business move. Vapejet big joke here in china. Here in china we treat customer many times better. Should have sent vapejet to factory here and we could have fixed in 2-3 day. We also throw in free centrifuge to secure business of successful d8 vape cart brand as yourself.

i can tell you ive been in some shitty on site installations and helping. i cant tell you the amount of horror stories ive heard from consultants and onsite installations. this is really nothing new.

your working conditions are for your employees. His working conditons are for his employees. why couldnt you send your employees to his facility for further training? seems like both dropped the ball but your out money and machines and vapejet is out reputation points… :joy:  :joy:

ps… there are nice parts of opa locka too… lol

After reflecting on the replies, discussing with my team, and taking a step back, I have to say the comments above, especially from @qma and @EngineerZach, are spot on.

I get hot-headed and defensive easily when it comes to the things I care about very deeply. Vape-Jet has been my passion project for 4 years now, and I pour everything I am into it. We all do. Having that threatened makes a shitty side of me come out, such as yesterday in this thread.

Honestly at the time it was going on it made a shitty part of our entire team come out. We didn’t take failure well.

Yesterday I was so focused on the failures of the past, I wasn’t looking towards the future. There was a lot of resentment and anger built up around this project, so having it pop up like this again a year later made the worst sides of me come out.

I love building things. I love the process of creation, and I love the fact that I get to do it in such a unique and colorful industry that I have such passion for. I love the things I have built, I take pride in them, and my greatest joy in life is sharing them with others. I try to do that through mutually beneficial means, and truly don’t have any malice.

Yesterday I lost sight of that, and focused on resentment. I spent the entire day focused on this between prior obligations, and mentally put myself on a high-horse and laser-focused on @Ola and instead of approaching it with a calm and measured mental state, instead just experienced rage.

I will take the advice from @qma to heart. It was already something we learned our lesson on through these experiences last year, but it seems like a great time to double down and focus on our pre-qualification process.

@Ola, I particularly owe you an apology. I reacted poorly and let my emotions dictate my actions. That fucking sucks. I’ll be following up on our email threads to address any lingering issues and stepping back for a bit and do some more personal reflecting.

To be fair I wanted to spazz out on you when I first got the machines. But my ops manager Andrew told me to keep it corporate and he’ll handle it which he didn’t, and I never said a word to you guys until now thinking he was taking care of the situation, I only reached back out when he said he thought I was taking care of it it was a miscommunication but for me to spend that type of money and get this type of customer service is outrageous I guess u knew I wasn’t gonna be a repeat customer so it was a fuck me I got your money which is cool I respect the game I just pray no one else get finessed by you guys @VapeJet

Good luck with your future business
