Turning wax into crumble

I have 28/g of wax/shatter how can I turn it into crumble without any fance equipment

Shatter to crumble using taffy tek

Attempted @OilExtractions taffy tek today. In a nutshell I streched my shatter until it was metallic and let it sit in the oven for a little bit (30 minutes) and repeated. After I reached my desired consistency I let it sit in the oven at 100F for an hour. It produced a hard toffee-like product. In a slab it resembled badder but it was stretchy and kind of a pull and snap. Why didn’t it turn to crumble? Does it have to do with the strain (durban poison)?
