How is propylene glycol a rational response to “is your 50/30 chiller explosion proof”?

Loading the chiller with glycol is certainly less flammable than running ethanol/methanol/isopropanol in there.

It does nothing to mitigate the explosion risk of having a refrigeration compressor and it’s relays clicking away mere feet from the off-gassing column/biomass at the end of your run
