Trusted terpene and cannabis derived terpene companies vendor list

Is B guava jam? And F abstract?

I agree labeling hemp terps as cannabis derived terps is kinda misleading but those companies play on a technicality instead of staying it’s from hemp. I have bought hemp Terp equivalent of some strains and they’re nothing alike

They are charging 6-12 an ml in bulk for hemp terps. It is highway robbery. They are CUTTING something that cost them 3-6 with something that cost them max $0.80 per ml, and then lying about what it is. HELL NO that isn’t kinda misleading, that’s totally misleading

I have also used @MassTerpenes and can tell you they are a great company who gives you exactly the quality of product they advertise. I will continue to use them with confidence.

Sorry for the delay bud was camping with the family. I’ll get some up here by end of day for you to check out. Thanks for your patience

I’d also like to better understand what brands are cutting with bdt? Is the tread saying that terpene belt farms is or isn’t. Sorry I’m new to this platform still finding my groove

So youre not @California_Terp_Co ? Lol

Then is @California_Terp_Co also @TerpeneBeltFarms?

Hte ftw

I got some CDT from @terpenescali and they were all DISGUSTING, I got 6 strains that were all slightly different. This was my first foray into hemp derived so I tried to come in with an open mind. They smelled like a mix of dirt, burned walnuts, myrcene, and ass. There is no way you can make a sellable cart with them. I’m still looking forward to trying @Betroit terps i know a lot of people recommend them but people also recommended terpenescali so who knows. Are there any canna terps on the market that smell like hte or is that a lost cause?

definitely looks to be the case.

We find this to be comical actually, in so many ways.
but thanks for the great feedback !!
And for being the first and only client that would put down and make a mockery of such a beautiful product.
But hey, it takes all types and theses days…well…
best of luck, and I can’t wait to try yours, the ones that you produce.
As for anyone else who ACTUALY
Knows and has a need for some of the finest oils avail on the planet.

I will have to double check the labeling Monday to make sure I have the right company. I just saw there are like 3 Cali terpene companies, I’m going to feel really dumb if I tagged wrong one.
However i did get 6 strains of gross, magic melon being one, I’ll post the others Monday when im back in the lab. If I’m the first then I may have the wrong company lol

Magic Melon did kind of suck but I’m not sure how you managed to get 6 different ones that you’d think were hemp.

HTE will always be better than steam distilled. That’s for sure. It’s just comparing two very different things. Separating volatiles from cannabinoids such as through steam distillation loses too many compounds while also over concentrating too many monoterpenes in relation to other aromatic types.

Just by smelling a steam distilled terpene before being mixed with cannabinoids is going to smell perfume-like. Mixing it with an oil will soften the smell somewhat but HTE still reigns supreme. Most people just don’t want to go through the effort then the other half just low key don’t even want their carts to taste like weed. We live in a strange time.

Yeah I have nothing against botanicals, or non weed flavors but these were plain nasty, nothing like weed. They were like the awful smell you get from thawing out shitty fresh frozen it steam distilled that awful thawed out mold smell, it’s offensive, it’s not like heads smell foul but it’s gross. The color was really clear though.

Having tried all of them I’m not sure we share the same preference on smells since I definitely don’t pick up anything like that on any of the others (aside from Magic Melon and one other unusual strain I’m not remembering at the moment). Layer Cake, Private Reserve, Banana OG etc all mix beautifully. I think you probably will be extremely disappointed in most other cannabis terps.

CO2 is generally milder smelling. Lower on the aldehydes and aggressive top notes that you are probably picking up on more. It’s still going to be mids compared to a property made HTE though.

Don’t do business with Terpene Belt Farms. They are 100%, no doubt about it, adding terpenes from other botanicals to their hemp terps and selling them as pure. Even further, they’re claiming to essentially use CRISPR technology to edit genomic expression of hemp to produce enzymes relevant to terpene biosynthesis in order to “mimic MJ”. I’m an analytical chemist who specializes in detection of adulteration of essential oils & I have quite a bit of experience with cannabis volatiles due to that. I have very extensive MS libraries for terpenes and other naturally occurring volatiles. I’d like to hear their defense of, for one example, Gas #5 having identical Terpinolene/p-Cymen-8-ol/p-Cymenene ratios as Terpinolene offered on the market when there are no known cannabis volatile publications demonstrating these existing in high Terpinolene strains.
