Tricks of the trade

Could be a wide variety of things triggering your nausea. Mold and mildew are in grow rooms even if you can’t see them. Could be in your split ac system blowing on you.

Could be something not related to the cannabis or the grow as well.

Run the carbon scrubber in the work room. This should help.

I should have a carbon filter operating, but I am moving after this round and had the fan down as it wasn’t necessary.

@The_Lone_Stiller I’ll probably run a temp 4" duct in the room for fresh air. Should help the problem…

Sounds like one of them good problems, @TwistedStill. :sunglasses: " my room is soooooo stank I vomit"
I do not think you are a bitch. Unless you do nothing about it and complain about it.
Was there any vertigo symptoms?
I get vertigo and nausea from co, co2 exposure.

Co2 had been off for 2 days. 300-400ppm. No vertigo.

Its definitely not a problem I’m complaining about. I was just wondering if others had experienced this. I haven’t grown any of these strains before, and was very surprised at 530 am to be in a terpene induced gaging fit…

I don’t know if I’m doing something right or wrong, but I’m about to find out when I move to the new location. Switching lights and propagating methods.

Didn’t think about too much c02. Very dizzy and nausea inducing.

Even at osha approved 1500 I’ve seen some folks not feel well.

@TwistedStill my friend had the same thing happen to him when trimming some of the flowers the other day so its not the first time I’ve heard of it

Glad you are well. Sounds like your flowers just dank.

I have never experience nausea like you described but certainly typical allergic reaction to different strains, only at harvest too(not later durring proccessing of the same strain).

Maybe there are some terps that function like capsicum in peppers?

Sorry, @anon16547145. New to this, tried to reply to @TwistedStill

If you bring in fresh outside air into a building nor room you indoor grow in, you really should have a heap filter to stop any mold spores n nasties.

I do have two filtered intakes unused in that room. Itll never be a grow again at this point, but I absolutely agree. Sealed grow only gets hepa filtered air

These may have been covered already as i was just skimming thru but heres mine.

After wiping buna-n/viton gaskets with iso give them a light coating of Coconut oil to prevent cracking.

Do something for nothing, only if you expect nothing in return.

I had a very similar experience with a garage full of outdoor plants. It seemed to be the worst during the first few days of hanging. I never started gagging, but did get a little nauseous and light headed after a few hours of bucking and stripping fan leaves. The issue was less intense after a few days. My guess is that it was caused by the most volatile terps that were pretty much gone after a few days, but have no clue which terp or terps were the cause. Might just be due to high concentration of terps in general, as I wasn’t able to bring in outside air due to temp and humidity.

back when I was an idiot and would wet trim my harvests I would get this if I did it early in the morning, or on an empty stomach. Fresh terps definitely can have an effect on you in high enough amounts. I would equate the feeling to that feeling you get when you consume too much nicotine. Nausea and and odd head feeling.

I use limonene degreaser to clean my gaskets, then use soapy water, rinse, then let dry. Doesn’t seem to be as rough on them, but that’s a really good idea!

Does it tho? Coconut oil? No thanks. I like the limo, and soapy water too, works great!

Good point, what could we use to lube them, if anything?

Too much nicotine is a very good example of the feeling…nearly identical
