If the sheets are 72" x 36", how are you getting to 30ft?

Thank you, thatās all I need to hear , I run standard filtration, so Iām thinking Iāll replace my paper filters, post dewaxer, and stage 4 layers of felt?
Iāll need to figure which microns for each
Ive used 2 strips and rolled tight together nothing slipped by

Exactly what @Idab916 said, felt replaces the papers Iād say.
If youāre staging with felt, Iād start with 25,then, 10, 5, and finally 1, or .5.
Really I think the 25 and 10 are doing most of the work Iād say.

Have you ran it flat, single layer
Yup ive used 1 micron flat for my regular runs for a while now. Stops any kief/plant matter from getting by with just one.

Iāve tried 1 micron flat for crc also. Didnāt have good way to cut back then so some powder would slip by. Been rolling them up for crc lately

Thanks, I have paper filters for now, , 16 and 8 um, cheap , so I like your idea, felt single layers 25>10>5>1um, after stalling in dewaxer, I have gas assist

What size spools are you running for your crc?

Random as hell but Harbor freight has some great stainless tools for cheap that I find many uses for when extracting (and dabbing)

Multiple strips, held together fine.
When im not using my filter chunk, i slip it into a 6" TC filter plate, great holder and leaves enough sticking out for u to grab it easily

Iāll see whatās available, but want to use 4 different micron felts, vs the 4 paper filter,
I have 3" material columns, 3" dewax and filter stack, which I will upgrade to 4x48 dewaxer and stack
Running 450-900gm runs, 5>1 n-bute
Also, my filter stack is separated from dw column by ball valve so Iāll get 100% filtration, I hope
I figure the first stage will do the heavy lifting, 25um to start?
Correct, larger pore size on top of the stack.

Yeah, Iām thinking 2 25um stages then 10, then 5? Or 50um first? Or 25>10>10>5,
I know everyone is on crc, but I really want to have my fundamentals dialed before I get crc, sourcing better material that crc isnāt necessary is def huge, itās just the path Iām on

Honestly, for non crc, you can go 25-10 and call it good imo. But, if youāre set on more filters, which isnāt a bad thing, Iād say 25>10>5.
And as far as materials, we all work with what we got!

Oh. Duh yeah you just cut it and layer it. I havenāt ordered any yet so without it in front of me the dimensions didnāt make sense. I get it now. How many runs are you guys getting with each one?
Hmmā¦ Now its got me thinking, what about their filter bags? One could just fill up a ton of them with media and have them ready to drop in just like a material sockā¦ Maybe a PTFE zip tie around a spray ball to hold it in place?
