Are you referring to solvent recovery as “distillation”?
You’re not wrong, but if your primary target/product (crude) doesn’t leave the boiling flask, then calling the process “distillation” isn’t ideal.
Eg @Roguelab asked if you were distilling cannabinoids…
Because that requires way more suck…

This rocker is only being utilized for filtering/dewaxing with Buchner of canna etho.
For my distillation processing I have a 2 stage roto vane pump that gets to -30Hg.

I have yet to try AC alone.
My theory was the B80 cake is helping with holding back and filtering any residue fats/lipids that would probably make it pass the AC by itself.
Fuck it, I found a good deal on 1k of t5 so I’m gonna try some

Someone already told you b80 doesn’t do anything for ethanol solutions. Someone else questioned your method by asking if you tried the carbon by itself, instead of B80 + AC. You said no.
