But on the real don’t toke and drive. Get high at your destination and then wait a few until you’re sober enough to drive.
Prolly like 10-25% of the country pops prescriptions and drives every day…Opiates…Adderall…Antidepressants. The % could be higher even. This is completely hypocritical.

I dunno how this all works= in my state they are backlogged removing ALL cannabis misdemeanors off the record= its legal/ But if you get convicted now can you get it removed? LOL
I prolly posted it already but i got busted for weed driving to a strip joint. smoking a joint as pulled over. So the law was a ticket but they did threaten dui= I wasnt a drunk yet and had zero beers. they let me off but i thought they were lying the whole time because they brought me to the station and i thought I was going to jail/ I was nice and they even drove me back to my car and said I had a story to tell the strippers= I went home. I had to go to court and the judge gave me an illegal 40 hour community service. I got some nice suits from the place I served so its all good. I need to get those suit pants expanded- BEER BELLY The dog failed- the cop dog couldnt finnd my weed. It was like 5 degrees. But I was obv smoking a j as i was pulled over, and the cops found blue dream seeds I had sitting from a friend from cali visit and I forgot them. And they found a hps bulb and coco.= i said i have reptiles. So at that point= I told on myself and said it was behind the seat. I didnt get my license taken. I dont think its ever happened in IL to get a cannabis dui.
These people don’t give a shit about safety or keeping the streets clean, they are likely just frothing at the mouth about how much cash they can make if they can convince the police to make these standard.
Assisting the “war on drugs” to pull over people and have them arrested for something shown by many studies to be no more impairing than a cigarette, for mad monies!

This is 100 percent true and not exaggerated. I’ve smoked weed almost any time I drove anywhere that was more than 10 min away . I’ve done tons of 12 hour drives from CT to Maine and back. average about 10 joints a trip ( no lie ) . Although my excessive smoking has definitely had a few negative impacts on my life, smoking and driving never once has . I’ve been doing it for 14 years straight , not only smoking on every drive , but sometimes driving around just to smoke “ jay rides” . 0 high accidents in 14 years . But interesting enough I tried to quit weed cold turkey about 6 years ago , got in my car sober as a bird for the first time in about 8 years and crashed within 2 minutes because I didn’t notice a red light … in the process of trying to quit/smoke drastically less at the moment but I make sure I have a little something to smoke before any drives so I can stay safe while I ween off / ween down

weed hits different people different. They need a new dui test to determine impairment. The current one is bs and half the poulation cant pass it 100 percent sober. People get nervous and make a mistake listening or they havve a physical impairment- balance isnt needed driving at all.
I took a motorcycld test and fucked up due to nervousness and not lestening. The first part of the test he told ride straight past these cones and stop at the line= I started weaving through the cones and he started screaming at me and in my helmet I couldnt hear so I stopped? = fail. My nervousness at the test and hearing that people fail on the cones had me concentrating on them so when he said ride past them i heard ride through them.
But on the weed thing, If i would take a week off and then smoke dank im pretty sure id be impaired. same if I quit beer and then drank 4. Impairment is situational and thats why they ned new tests. Im sure I got stoned before the next mc test and passed 100 percent.

like i said= have straight adults play a video game and have stoned teens play a game and measure reaction time. If adults are worse than stoned teens then adults should be banned from driving - slower reaction times than stoners.

I think teens being quicker to react than an adult is an experiment that would need more variables to be accurate. A teen might react quick because they might not be thinking enough during that split second to make a rash decision there for %50 of the time there reaction could be dangerous even though it may be quicker. An adult might be more prone to take a half second longer to be able to come up with a logical decision.

I’ve always made a similar argument to @thumper about field sobriety tests: if you can pass a logic/cognition/coordination test you should be allowed to drive and if not 
. The only thing is that testing “logic” can be a bit tough (especially if you’re a cop)

logic isnt on a drivers test. neither are any fsb tests. I dunno what the rules are? if you fail by one is it a fail because you didnt add to 9 when walking? Ive had a test and passed. I told them i drank 6 or 8= pass.
I think the argument @WeedThePeople was making is that there’s more than reflex to driving; for instance, when to jam on the gas or brake when you see a yellow light. This is more challenging to test than your reaction time or ability to touch your nose

I dont think it really matters what test a cop gives you. The real test you have to win is being the smarter human being. If your totally wasted on alcohol or something heavy your screwed but with weed its different. You have to win over the cops mind. The key point is to make him fell like you guys have been friends forever. At that point he will feel guilty arresting you if you remotely pass the tests. I had a bigger problem. I might have been on something that slowed down the way I acted but also I was on weed so my car smelled like it. I passed all the field tests but did not get a chance to even show the cop I cared or to win him over. He says “You passed the field tests but I still feel your under the influence of something so I have to take you in for a blood test. If you refuse your license will be suspended for a year”. Naturally I said ok knowing I would fail for weed. Well I failed and got my license revoked for a year because I didnt have a lawyer. If you have a lawyer you know what I mean. I got fucked. Cops have power if they want to use it no matter how sober you act.
