BTW why do people like those jars so much? Is it because they look scientific? They are a pain to get the disty back out of, some, at least a few grams always sticks to the sides even when heated and you cant get a spatula in there…

I completely agree with that as well. You need something with a wide mouth. I used steel batch cans
I agree with that and use lesson learned from childhood into college. Jif peanut butter jar the large glass one ordered new from China. Can get every drop out with spatula and spoon.
