Talk about precious gems! @fullmelt90u4u I like your handle, I think it was 1999 I was in Vancouver with Mark Richardson, Rob, Clark, and I believe the editor for Cannabis culture, and Rob Clark was showing us how to separate the difference, resin heads using icewater and micron screens, that day, Mark Richardson, coined, the term full melt, and bubble, and we smoked the first full melt bubble hash, we were using a heat gun with a pile of it packed on top of Bud’s, and it would just melt right into soup and start bubbling, hence full, melt bubble and the idea of bubble bags was born, Mark Richardson’s wife, Shar sewed up the first kits, shortly after, and the legendary bubble hash became a thing

Absolutely, I believe Mila was the first one we had seen to have bags “the iceolator bags”, but ithey did not as far as I know separate the resin glands in a way that would create full melt bubble.

We were aware of Mile’s iceolator bags. Mark obviously had seen them before creating bubble bags.

I don’t think I’ve ever written this down on a public forum, but fuck it 25 years later, let’s do it

sometime in the fall of 1999 I drove up to Bellingham with my homeboy, Roman Villagrana, dope artist we parked at the docks, he looked at me, said, stay in your center and move with pure action.

Right then I saw the speedboat starting to come towards us from around a tiny nearby island offshore. I grab my pack, jumped out the jeep and ran towards the dock. I timed it perfectly as the boat cut the motor off and cruise by the dock, I jumped on, and we sped out back towards the islands, weaving through the teeny islands until we popped out across the ocean towards Canada, smacking the swells and slapping the bottom of the boat so hard that it was like riding a bull full speed ahead we got towards the marina in Canada, cut the motors off and slid in. I jumped off onto the dock ran up we’re “Batman” was waiting in the Batmobile and we zipped into Vancouver pulled into the underground parking where Homey had the key to the elevator that took us all the way to the top of the penthouse elevator doors open into a beautiful penthouse overlooking the marina in Vancouver. Rob Clark wrote the great book of hashish and the editor of cannabis culture we’re chilling.

This is the day in history, where the term Full melt bubble hash was coined by Marcus Richardson, a.k.a. BC bubble man.
The first time I had witnessed full melt bubbling hash, we celebrated it, and it became the holy grail of hash.

literally a High Point in the industry, Mark had the two top floors of the most beautiful, tallest building overlooking the marina.

That day we spent several hours, making ice water Hash using find micron screens, kitchen, mixers, and mixing bowls, taking great care to separate the different size, resin glands, pressing them, blow drying them, microwaving them doing whatever we could to get them to cure fast enough, so that we could get some nice cured bubble which we then packed on top of buds,and heated with heat guns for the first hits of bubble hash!

That’s when one of the grades of resin glands that we heated up immediately turned into a bubbling soup a.k.a. full melt bubble! We were ecstatic, and I am pretty sure that was the highest any of us had ever been in our lives. Up to that point.

All the sudden, the elevator doors opened up, which were in the middle of the living room facing the kitchen and there was Mark‘s wife, Shar over eight months pregnant, both arms full of groceries, and her entire kitchen was destroyed with four totally faded dudes with squinty, bloodshot eyes fumbling to make words

She was not happy to say the least

I stepped out onto the balcony to give them some space and look over the marina. Mark came outside with me to roll a joint. He took two fat puffs off the joint looked at me. I expected him to pass it, and he just threw it off the top of the building into the marina and said that’s it. I’m never smokin plant matter again and that was it. As far as I know, He never smoked another joint almost 25 years ago. He said “I am going to create full melt bubble bags. No one’s done it yet, Mila’s isolator bags don’t create full melt bubble the people deserve it.”

Mark went back into the penthouse and said “ honey it’s all good we’re going to create full melt bubble bags and you’re going to sew the first ones”. He sat right down at his computer and started ordering Gore-Tex from China and fine micron screens from Germany.

I believe Shar sewed the first hundred or so bags herself Mark Emery distributed them from his shop, and they began to blow up

Mark had some friends in Nepal with a factory or we believe the goat herder’s were probably making ice hash for centuries. Mark asked him to manufacture bubble bags. Several months later I got the call to come back up. Mark had rented a space at 1111 Commercial Dr. in Vancouver the melting point.
Pack to the ceiling were giant burlap sacks inside containing bubble bags. Mark said here they are. I want you to take the first load into the US so I loaded up my truck when I got to the border the guards were looking at me like what is this? I told them water filtration kits they were stumped, but after Poking around trying to figure out what to do. They eventually let me go and I headed straight down to earth dance at the hog farm in Humboldt and turned everybody onto bubble bags, I toured around Humboldt and the emerald triangle for a month showing everybody how to use them and the product that they created

At that point people were getting paid to take trim and dispose of it often that meant throwing trash bags of trim off the side of the road down the hill sides, those guys shortly after went from low level disposal workers to Kings of the bubble hash, but they were getting 100 bucks to go dump off the side of the hill soon they were getting paid 100 bucks to take material which they would turn into $7000 a pound bubble hash to revolutionize the game
