Your awesome dude. Thanks. Did the mix ever seperate on you?

How much does the 30 ml bottle do ( the bitter block)
Also would you mix the disty and base, and then mix into syrup?

Thanks youve been quite helpful with good info. Much appreciated

No I didnt notice any separation, it was a game changer for me because previously I was using a corn syrup blend that seperated slowly.

I believe it was around 12 drops per gallon we used.

What was the ratio of disty to base if you recall?

Rough numbers we did 14grams (90%+) distillate to 200ml of base and then 3000ml syrup and we added a liquid curcumin(tumeric extract with bioperine) product to ours because it really made the syrup hit harder. It would total up to a gallon. And we would break those down into 2oz bottles.

Update on that link I sent previously, that link was for what we used to make transdermal patches this is the link for the edible base. It looks like they have a version with the bitterblock already in it.

Is it necessary to pasteurize the finished bulk cannabis syrup prior to packaging? Or are the preservatives enough to mitigate microbial growth?

I meant to ask you this question:

Is it necessary to pasteurize the finished bulk cannabis syrup prior to packaging? Or are the preservatives enough to mitigate microbial growth?

I just called them they lady had 0 clue what she was talking about

It’s a great idea to pasteurize if you can. That helps kill any existing microbial growth and the preservatives slow them from coming back.

The heat for pasteurization could be high enough to alter the composition and integrity of your emulsion so go with caution. Theres time and temperature tables on how to do it so you should be able to dial it in
