It’s not just Texas, they’re aiming to do the same thing in Michigan, and other states as well.

I mentioned here about how they were gonna give delta 8 to the THC licenses, that process has already fruited in several states.

Texas is a hold your ground and setup shop for the changes coming. Everyone who stays put and keeps the lights on will face success when Texas inevitably becomes more friendly towards hemp and cannabis.

It’s a relatively simple pattern to follow. Beyond that everyone sees what’s happening with unregulated labs exploding.

They’re FAR too based man. Like only reason hemp is becoming big is cause Cali and other weast coasters have been abandoning ship and moving to Texas.
Either 2 things happen, Texas bans D8 and only allows hemp/CBD products not weird cannabinoids that are grey, or they cave in and allow it. Which I don’t see the latter happening. Even with money being involved.
We will have to wait and see however…
Its almost as if the people who force us and tell us to work to succeed didn’t at all work to succeed themselves. Very few did and the ones who did are now either dead or not involved in business anymore.

The movie “The Candidate” divulges a lot of how these systems work.

I’m starting to stockpile food and work on a garden in my backyard now. Buy enough prepackaged food to last you long enough for you to make your own food, then by the time your canned food and MRE reserves are out your gardens will be on its 5-6th harvest and you’ll have enough canned homegrown food to last you 2-3 years

I watched “The International” and its a movie about big weapon companies using governments to wage wars and keep themselves in power to make as much money as possible while keeping power and trying to kill anyone who wants to discover their plans.
Good movie about corruption and power and greed. Another good one about that is “No Country For Old Men” probably one of the more symbolistic ones.

Speaking from my own observations, the demand for “THC-like” products is crazy high, buuut the vast majority of people I know who partake in Delta 8/10 and the other THC products are doing so because they don’t have access to traditional cannabis products. When given the option, nearly all of them go for good ole cannabis over mystery carts.
This is the primary reason why I think nationwide cannabis legalization will ultimately stop the proliferation of these isomer products because a not-insignifigant portion of users are doing so because they don’t have easy access to traditional products.
That’s not to say it will kill that side of things entirely. There will always be a demand for high-quality novel products. This year’s MJBiz experience did a lot to open my mind about semi-synthetic cannabinoid products like HHC or THC-O-Acetate. But it will hopefully kill the bathtub-tier gas station and black market mystery cart game when people can get real products at regulated dispensaries (not that dispensaries aren’t also guilty of having shady products as well).
