I’ve noticed the same thing. People just want a legal alternative or the real thing no questions asked 90% of time. There’s few I know who prefer D8/“10” over D9 or flower in general. Those people who do are younger than me though so thats an even scarier thought that literal children are smoking D8/“10” instead of normal flower. Id rather a high schooler just smoke cannabis then smoke “D8 flower” or a “D10 cart” due to the unknowns of D8. Really depends where too, as in the midwest its booming due to laws. My best friends brother smokes D8 because he’s worried about the legality and he’s on probation I think still after being raided. I tell him all the time just take a break.
In my opinion I don’t think the products should be allowed for resale, too many unknowns and sketchy products. If we had D9 THC legal as same way we have D8 right now I guaranteed D8 and other isomerizers would not be as popular. People not having access to clean D9 and laws and age plays the role in why D8 is popular.
I don’t think he cares. His brother was the type to trap carelessly all while saying nothing will ever happen to him. So good luck trying to tell him anything tbh.
