The colder you get the harsher it is… yes people make gaskets similar to tuff steel that can handle sanitary super cold temps. It’s just what does customer really Wana do. This setup is just setup for opperating at low cost and anything can be connected or upgraded or I can change it before sending it. It’s like a “base” unit.
Also most swagelok valves can operate at much lower temps. Thier rating are for long durations and stress. Using ultra low temps for short period of time really just means the valves see little abuse. I’m not in the business of adding garbage components to stainless, I want to make sure it’s proper and safe when delivered. You can see even the hoses weren’t basic cheap braided hoses.
You should put a bigger collection on this so it’s actually useable a base unit. Or sell another solvent tank with it, so recovery can happen simultaneously upon injection…

I’ve heard numerous prices from 8-14k for certs depending where it goes. I’ve also heard 6k so I don’t know. I prefer to discuss the details with the engineer of what state it’s going to and see what they charge.
Peer review 6" and under systems have a limit for sign off. This is the limit. If a customer wants something larger it goes asme and requires a sign off or stamp as well as more cost. I think you are mincing the facts to make your morning feel better. There are limits to peer reviewable systems and sized to get that “automatic” conformation type of sign off. This is one of those. Want change? Add a few sheckles and we can do whatever. Just saying going larger requires asme and cost.
Just saying peer review or not this system doesn’t work like you have planned. Not without the buyer having to build work arounds into their system… regardless of asme 6” spec, why build a system with a collection that can’t hold enough solvent for the rest of the system YOU designed… seems like a fuck up
Runs perfectly fine. There’s numerous people running this config. Ours is just setup tighter, closer and with all the bells and whistles. You can keep arguing with yourself. This is based on standard conformation of closed loops. I can add valves, jackets, whatever parts your little heart desires. As it sits with some nitro push it’s a fine machine. And with hot loop and a coil I’ve dirven columns over 110-120f with zero issues so take your bullshit somehwere else. I have been running closed loops since 2004/5. And you’re sitting here not even remembering my original dev insta account…
