Found a pic of my last warehouse before our legal lab that I had a skatepark in. It was fucking awesome. I’d get to skate in between runs and any downtime, I also lived there. Had a 3 1/2ft mini ramp with a 4 1/2ft extension. A few boxes and ledges, quart pipes and a super sketchy vert wall that was like 2ft wide. That was the dream. I wish I could put a mini ramp in my new spot

Using two to achieve 4wd seems an amusing way of wasting Electrickery.
I’ve got one in my driveway with 70k on it, but confused the controller in a possibly non-recoverable fashion, so it may just become a battery for my solar system.

This one time…I was machining laminated brass or something…a shimmed gasket sort of thing. Anyway…it left remnant discs…that looked like coins. So I engraved motivational phrases into them and gave them to my supervisor when I left station.

I kinda feel like my son will be a badass one day and need his name on something in a badass yet tasteful way…so I made this while I was fucking off.
That cursive was engraved using a pantograph engraving machine from before WW2.

This one had hand scraped cursive letters that were a work of art. Unfortunately they threw that machine away soon after they threw me away.

Quick disconnect fittings. When you push them together, the metal cores slide back and fluid can flow, but when you disconnect them they close and seal.

Looks fucking Rad!
Those are spendy, but oh so nice. Automotive world uses them in race cars for quick changes of any hydraulic system that allows for it.
What brand and model are you using there specifically?

I’ve had problems with this strategy and the plastic quick connects that ETS uses.
get something cold and unplug it, and the HX fluid expands. I’ve had values fail and burst, and ones that were extremely hard to reconnect (because of the pressure).
my assumption is that having the quick connects fail is probably better than having the container jacket fail. Just something to keep in mind.
