Soft, Runny Distillate

Hey there! I have a strange problem.

I have runny distillate. I extracted ETOH as usual. Winterized, carbon/t5. Roto.

First pass spd. Amazing color. Seemed too easy to remove from collection flask. Poured in beakers ended my day. Next day came in to check and sure enough when held sideways it very slowly started to move.

That’s not normal for me.

So I though giving it a second pass might help, the material was fresh and very nuggy so I though maybe some residual terps might have made it in?
I went slow and very low and even Portioned off more than I should have for the heads section.

Even better color. Sun yellow. Came in today, still soft.

Any ideas? I have like 6 liters of this stuff and I’m in a rut

60.8f shouldnt move too much.

What % is it?

I haven’t run it before.

It’s from a trusted source, from their farm.

It smelled really dank, like blue dream or similar.

I read your thread about soft distillate yesterday

Delta 9 thc is rock hard

I would get some testing on it and go from there

Smoke some of the distillate or give it to a friend.

How runny are we talking? At 70f it should be able to sit on its side for around a minute before showing too much movement

Yes this is the first time I’ve ever had a stability issue.

Could I have been tricked? Is hemp that similar?

I don t know anyone who buys CBD.

Hemp can look identical bc it’s the exact same plant :person_facepalming:esp good hemp. Aka cannabis sativa
