What kind of pressure increase did you see while decarbing with no additional nitrogen added? Iām thinking about getting a glass pressure vessel rated for 60psi @ 120Ā°c. I planning on doing decarbing terp sugar that has about 500ppm or less.

The words āpressure rated glassā are always terrifying to me. Make sure you have a good PRV.

I havenāt measured the build up pressure when decarbing in a vessel beginning with atmospheric pressure.
Logic, or lack there of, tells me glass would be ok if you mind your pressure. It is the head space of the vessel and the amount of co2 generated that is more the issue.
Is glass preferable for you so you can observe the decarb process?

This is the unit i was looking at. I thought this would be a decent option for small scale. Im only planning on decarbing 30% of my extract as i donāt mind a little residual sugar in the cartridge. From past experience 30% decarb is enough to keep extract from over sugaring and loosing too much inside of the cartridge. At least not enough to have returns. Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.
The Tinkerer in me says you could place a glass āpressureā vessel like that inside of a much stronger steel pressure vessel and keeping psi equal in both inner glass, and outer steel higher potential pressure COULD be achieved. But Iāve only nearly gotten myself killed a few times. So 
Sighā¦ I would very much like to purchase this for the very same thing you used it for.
May I ask how one might achieve this, in a much smaller version for much smaller runs?

So I did this, I ordered a 3āx6ā spool. I donāt have a n2 system and I donāt have a use for one other then decarbing oil. Could I achieve a similar outcome simply by pulling vac to remove oxygen? Iām hoping to trap and recapture the terpens that would boil off otherwise. Was planning on getting it cold so the terps condense.
I wanted to find a ptfe insert like twisted has. Not sure how to make one other then ordering 3ā rod and boring it out myself. Minimum order is 12ā rod for $100 shipped, kinda pricy and Iāll have a bunch leftover
Yes. Youād probably want to load, get it cold, then pull vac. Seal. Then heat. Otherwise youāre gonna hash your pump or at least the tube leading that direction.
You donāt need the insert. @TwistedStill made hisā¦he might be convinced to make more. @Soxhlet can be convinced to build all kinds of stuff

Do you have logic what you say friend, it seems to me a good idea what you are doing so as not to lose the terpenes when it comes to decarboxylate, but I have a question, do your carts have waxes? I suppose that by not doing your winterizing process, the cartridge must be with waxes at the end of consumption

If skilled enough with your initial extraction, winterization is an unnecessary step for carting.
Your milage may varyā¦but thatās the destination Iāve arrived at.

How much is the return that I should have with a good dewax, my system is 2lb and I recently used nitrogen in my pass, getting a return of 23 grams. I think I need more, my gas bottle is 12lb . / all criticism is well received, it helps me to keep improving

Get your shit as cold as you can possibly get it, and push it through with your nitro. At 12lbs you should be good for 2 lbs if youāre not running it through a crc. Just freeze your gas on some DI before pushing it through
