We have a consultant coming in next week helped start the lab I work at so I’m going to pass this time thanks for telling me I’m doing it wrong for the 3rd time! Think I got it by now! Like I said just trying to learn. I appreciate the offer!

My reccomendation is to find a suitable cart first. Its far too common to find some great live resin in a cart that leaks, clogs, or doesn’t rip very good. live resin is harsh on carts since theres typically more lypids. get a cart with holes at least 2mm. Adding disty and calling it a live resin cart is against my morals so I recommend decarbing diamonds on a hot plate with a slow and steady stir bead. Biggest issue ive ran into is bubbles with certain strains. Not sure if its the thca in the sauce decarbing, terps bubbling, or something else.
Inert atmosphere & under pressure…glad to know it’s been confirmed with analytics rather than simple organoleptics

100% agree. I use a speedmixer, right out of collection into speedmixer and spin it under vac for a bit and it is perfect for carts right away. Doing this packs so much more punch into the cart, it’s unadultered, complete live resin.
No separations, no distillate. No decarbing, no formulating.

That’s how I make my carts, first I make bho badder/ sugar using jelly tek.
Next step is centrifuge the sugar to separate the thca from the terpenes.
Next step I decarb the thca and reintroduce the terps, I make sure the thca is not higher then 120° when adding the terps.
Mix that together then fill carts and enjoy.
These carts hit twice as good as botanical terps.

Warm the terps up before mixing, it’ll make your life a little easier.
