So I heated, got fully dissolved, saw the “spider legs” so I assumed it was well saturated. Then I took out of the oven and let it sit. Been a couple weeks and nothing crashing out whatsoever. Any ideas why?

Basically 1:1.1. So it was 235g isolate:260g pentane

Your isolate likely isn’t isolate
Have you potentially decarbed anything?
If not leave the lid off and evap. When I hit the nail on the head I know the next morning if not a few hours later.

Thca, correct? What temperature is it sitting at. Give it a few burps, but that ratio should be fine

When you say “isolate” you are referring to your starting material. What was your starting material? If you are talking about THC Distillate then you already have decarbed THC, in other words, it’s long passed the THCA part and you won’t get THCA crystals. To get THCA you must start with a crude extract that has not been decarbed. I re-read the post a couple of times to make sure but I couldn’t find any mention of your starting material other than “isolate” which is kind of incorrect, since THCA “isolate” is what we are trying to achieve with a RX in pentane.

I’ll try that. I wanna say the room is about 70° on average. It could drop maybe to 65 at night though. And yes THCA.

Yeah it’s THCa isolate. Ran some material through my CLS with butane, spun off the terps with a fuge and had isolate powder I mixed with the pentane.

Have you tried seeding with already formed THCa crystals? It is generally easier to grow bigger crystals from small seeds then to start from scratch. The seeds can also work as an indicator as to how saturated your THCa solution is. Growing rapidly = Supersaturated. Whereas if your crystals/seeds are decreasing in size you have not yet reached the point of supersaturation and need to dissolve more THCa

So I actually totally forgot about the jar because after 4 days I didn’t see any growth, got bummed and hid the jar. Since I just saw you ask this I thought “Oh yeah what did happen with that?” Then I saw this when I pulled it out -
