I find 3:1 solvent:thca for dissolving, once fully dissolved, purge most of pentane, crash at around .5:1 solvent:thca.
Itās all about the supersaturation, when the legs are right seems to be quickest.

That helps a lot bro perfect starting point. When you āpurgeā the pentane Iām assuming itās not done in your oven lolā¦ do you just take the lid off once itās cooled down? Then once itās evaporated off enough to be close to the 0.5:1 mark you close it and let it crash out?
Or are you doing this in a specific vessel used just for this

BTW, you can dissolve at your saturation point and just lower the temp to initiate growth. No need to use more than you need, or to vent off more than necessary.

I agree w @Dred_pirate you donāt need extra solvent to dissolve just get it warmā¦then take it off the heat to cool and place the lid on. Using the right amount pentane to Begin w not extra

Yes ālegsā like red wine, itās the only way I can describe the āswirlsā that become apparent when in the supersaturation zone.

Thereās a reason why pentane diamonds are really cloudy most of the time. And itās leaning towards a few variables and this being one of them

So its possible to get better clarity and comes down to ratios then? edit:among other things as you said this is just one variableā¦ Which is where the experiments come in to play Iām guessing (Just like the above video of growing a crystal)

Thca R-ex in pentane with a little nopuckallstack tech
Tried to load up a video of them purged but it was too large. They stayed pretty clear. If done properly pentane can provide good clarity
