you say it degrades? what if i changes and multiplies and takes over your brain like a wasp.
Im really interested in this bro have you seen it done? I could definitely make something with copper tubing and a co2 setup but ive never seen one with a diptube!
Ill eat gmo food all day and not give a fuck but the vaccine reminds me of metal gear solid on the original playstation. All teh tech in that game is 30 years old the new stuff they have now must be almost unimaginable. take th vaccine, you can be killed en masse when the time comes
from what ive seen its way cheaper to buy dry ice than make it unless you are talking a commercial machine.
my state is one of if not the strictest state on covid. All stores or public spaces other than a restaraunt or bar have been masked and distanced. We did no better than other states who had no rules.
Oh for sure! I know some of the guys here would be making it at home if possible haha. I was thinking he meant taking a co2 tank like for the grow room and get some copper and make some tubing for chilling ![]()
theres a cheap machine but 20 lbs of liquid co2 makes less than 20 lbs of dry ice so its expensive. the liquid co2 costs more obviously
Ahh damn ok got it! Yea after reading all that I figured if it was that easy alot of the guys would be doing it
I think it makes sense if you need dry ice and have zero access. like if you are on a rowboat delivering corona vaccine across the ocean.
Its what Iāve been using in place of dry ice for a while, but youāve usually gotta ask in advance to have dip tube tanks delivered. Some places will even fill up an empty tank if you bring it to them, they just wonāt do it on the spot.
Ive got a 20cu tank w/ dip tube that i use but I misplaced my dispenser when I swapped out the tank last time so i gotta make another. Pretty straight forward I use 1/2" compression fittings to attach flexible copper tubing to a female cga320 to npt adapter.
Turn the cylinder valve and liquid co2 comes out.
Next time you head to your local gas supplier ask them to order you a co2 cylinder with a dip tube. Liquid co2 has a couple obvious advantages over dry ice and the price is usually pretty comparable.
You can get away with using a fraction of the amount of acetone in your ghetto chiller solution if you use liquid co2 instead of dry ice. Just make sure you insulate the container as best you can because itās going to be condensing a lot of moisture.
Thank you bro im gonna check that out!
If you want to get really circular, you technically need the refrigeration to perform cryogenic distillation to produce oxygen so that you can burn the biomass with straight O2, yielding very pure CO2 to be captured. Sounds crazy but itās actually how the do it with natural gas plants
Tell us more if you can. I use di in my injection/recovery coil slurry only. I Also circulate ethanol through a double jacket material column and power steering cooler. The power steering cooler is dunked in the slurry during process and in my heated water stream during recovery. I have been contemplating moving to lco2 but only because Iād like to practice my hobbie on my own schedule. Midnightoil for a reason. How much lco2 would equal 100lbs di?
Someone once told me that civilian technology will always be around 15 - 30 years behind the military. And when I asked why, the dude said ābecause itās the military, theyāre always supposed to have the best technology, weāre not.ā
Damn being a teenager was weird a lot of military vets and crackheads for some reason loved talking to me.
Co2 supply chain lies are just that. Co2 costs factories money to deal with. It is a byproduct of both natural gas plants, petrol plants, gas refineries etc. Of they could they would let out the excess into the air. But thatās illegal. As long as gasoline is being produced and or other petrol processes are being mainlined in the industries through out the usa there will be a abundance of co2. When production like that slows down then we have co2 issues for delivery and supply chain. When they are sitting tanks and people are buying less co2 that also affects supply becusee they arenāt moving it, they are putting it in connifer storage tanks. Wich is harder to deal with then just load and transport from the factories. For the most part the stories about co2 are just hyperbole. Literally large corporations pay pennies per gallon - literally Iāve seen 9-14 cents per gallon to physically just take it off petrol companies hands so they donāt need to deal with it as long as they have their own tankers. When people are our industry they donāt see it as welding, wine, or similar they just see dollar bills when you guys go into a ship and buy dry ice. Making dry ice is highly inefficient nearly baseline around 40-50% effective transformation(when doing yourself) while the companies have a 99% efficiency transformers that take from gas to a solid with rapid discharge systems that are long channel and donāt waste the co2. When I was reselling dry ice it was about ten cents per lb from my ice supplier. Wich is basically a ten fold profit from those other companies buying from petrol. Now the suppliers abuse the cannabis industry. Some labs I know get the factory price but they have large facilities. Everyone else sorta eats it. When we were custies and paying 50 cents a lb from a supplier prior to summit, it still wasnāt bad. It was profitable. As a rule of thumb remember all welding shops pay approx 10 cents a lb for co2. So remind them when they price you out. They also have a lb loss allowance they donāt have to pay for but you do when you buy co2
More of a problem with things actually designed to replicateā¦like say the attenuated live viruses weāve used to make other vaccines.
mRNAās are translated to proteins, then after several rounds, are actively targeted for destruction. (Without that step, turning genes back off wouldnāt work).
In order to mutate they would need to replicate, which would require other specialized proteins or rnas which are not being provided. There are some really far fetched scenarios where the right viral co-infection might result in reverse transcription of the engineered mRNA, but then there would need to be another set of miracles to have it a) mutate b) have any sort of function in its new state. Miracles do happen, but most mutations destroy function rather than enhance it, so I wouldnāt worry about turning into a spider a whole lot.
My guy gets it from Canada. He doesnt like continental any more than we do. He is willing to work with us legal michigan processors and thats a nice thing to know. He told me not to worry about a shortage. Also hes willing to work with retailers who need supply.
How much you paying a pound?
$.50 for blocks and pellets
$.60 for HD
Sold in 50# boxes
150# or more for that price
@drake Im pretty sure we are in the same general area. I get it for.$0.50 by the lbs, rice or pellets I sent dred a picture of the dry ice āplugsā machine and itās got an insane output. Iāll see if I can dig up those pictures and numbers haha but the lovely ladies there heard of no such shortage
