Hey Sirextractalot (I couldn’t find your email, so I thought I’d stalk you over here) and everyone,
I’m Cindy from Colorado Green Lab. Since I’m a noob over here, I’m not allowed to post links.
Frank Conrad and I are doing a scheduled Reddit IAMA this upcoming Wednesday (Dec-11) at 11:00 AM Mountain Time (1:00 PM ET, GMT-4:00).
Two main topics we’ve proposed:
Our work involving false THC positives after only CBD consumption.
CGL’s development of the heavy metal exposure model with implications to the current vaping crisis and the onset of illness after the use of inhalation-activated vape pens.
But, IAMA is “ask me (us) anything” so, we’re ready!
The AMA will post 30 minutes before the start time, and will run for about three hours if the questions keep coming.
We haven’t looked at cobalt really, other than noting it is a common component of electrodes in lithium polymer cells used in vape pens. Frank corresponded with one of the authors of the cobalt paper and shared our findings, namely that Zen Pen (used by the patient) and inhalation-activated vape pens have an air channel into the battery compartment, and there is exposed metal inside the casing. They were speculating the cobalt came from the coil, but acknowledged it was unclear as to the actual source (cobalt is not commonly found in nichrome alloys). He thanked us for the knowledge share, and we thanked them in return for their paper. I hope they are busy taking apart vape pens right now and prepping another paper.
Figured I may spark this back up but has there really been any new news on the vaping illness. Yesterday at work I was talking with a co-working about the corona virus and i had an idea pop up maybe the original vape illnesses were really infected with the virus
This article is highly interesting for a number of reasons.
The leak at Fort Detrick involved the waste disposal system. The virus has been detected living in waste streams from the hospitals in Wuhan…
That seems the likely vector for how it breached biocontainment.
Its entirely possible this was the initial vector and resulted in the initial “mild” strain, which could have been carried (un?)intentionally by the US delegation to the Wuhan army games…
I have read online of strange reports within the US army of entire units being infected with pneumonia like “flu” and testing negative for flu in the Nov- Dec time frame. I was also severely sick myself in late December after Vegas.
The VAPI cases are the tip of the iceberg as high amounts of vaping are hard on the immune system and lung capacity generally.
Once it reached china, it mutated and/or was more lethal due to the Han chinese having a much larger % of ACE 2 receptors, poor air quality and possible interaction with flu shots or SARS vaccines the chinese have been using on their people.
All attempts to make a vaccine for Sars have failed and resulted in pneumonia like symptoms in mice…
Also one(or many) of the biologists who was looking at the edited area of the virus saw similarities to the pShuttle -SN sequence suggesting it was result of a failed vaccine experiment and most definitely edited.
This entire incident looks increasingly like a series of random unfortunate events amplified by a series of blame games and cover-ups.
All sides likely played a role and are involved in highly questionable research.
Do you vaporize nicotine? (Since you mentioned being sick a bit ago) I know vaping is huge in the military, along with three to five day testable drugs and cough medicine, etc, and military folk tend to go hard…it sort of sounds like a bad batch of vape juice (vg) manufactured in wuhan, or is there a less direct connection?
Yeah my wife is military and works in the medical dept. Apparently we had a ton of upper respiratory/ pneumonia like cases early this year, almost no one tested positive for flu. Very well could be a really really bad cold… just weird to hear about how others had corona like symptoms at bases all across the west coast since January…
