There are reports of sickness going as far back as November-Dec
I don’t know boys, trying to find a correlation between covid and evali is a little too tinfoil hat for me.
The only thing I’m seeing on both is hyper sensationalized media coverage. The news has completely lost it. The control they have over people is the most concerning thing to me.
I think you’re correct bud.
That’s the truth. Tin foil hat or no, watching this unfold should be revealing for us all.
"As of Feb. 18, severe lung illnesses or injuries linked to vaporizer products — containing both THC as well as nicotine — killed 68 people and hospitalized 2,807 in all 50 states and several U.S. territories, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. -
The primary cause of these illnesses and deaths, the CDC wrote in its last and final report on the matter, was indeed an additive called vitamin E acetate, a commonly used food product that is highly hazardous when ingested. -
And that’ appears to be the last and final analysis, as “due to continued declines in new” cases the CDC’s Feb. 25 released was its “final update” on hospitalizations and deaths nationally, barring any new developments. And with that agency busy with the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, it’s hard to imagine a months-old scare that appears to have gone away competing for its attention."

Maybe I’m just blind but do they actually say the temperatures used for the pyrolysis study? At one point they say a crazy high temp that no one in their right mind would vape at but I could not find what temp they used to identify the toxic byproducts
Look up Dr. Strongin’s work in measuring decomp chems in the vapor stream from dabbing and vape carts They’ve done a great workup, and I really loved Jiries Meehan-Atrash’s presentations on the subject (Strongin is his PI). Here’s one of the papers. I wish I could find the chart that shows 10X increase in decomp products with each temperature increment, 'twas presented last year at ACS National in Orlando. The low temp in the chart was impractical, and the high temp was insane, with real temps in between.
They also saw a lot of the same terpene degradation I noticed in HS-GC-MS routine work for terpene analysis.
Also other additives like squalane / squalene and triacetin, and certainly plenty other (MCT - ew). Squalane / squalene would certainly contribute to EVAPI if vitamin E does. If only there was a way to make vape carts without additives… hmmmmm…
That’s how they got so many scary studies that showed nicotine vapes producing all sorts of toxic shit. They used 5x the wattage the coil was rated for and barely any airflow. Not sure if they just don’t know how to use the devices or they were trying to overheat them on purpose cause nothing was produced at temps people actually use them at.
It’s all covid related. ![]()
Less than 20 reported deaths…i imagine most of us have smoked the bs b4…woulda been a lot more deaths…i think it has to do with the high temps and faulty cheap metals in carts…idk…but its rare
