Please help! New to making Distillate Carts, help w cloudy streaks

If it’s straight up Terpenes and no moisture has gotten into the bottle, or not contamination in the bottle by double dipping old gauges or using old syringes… I’d blame the distillation process itself. But… it’s at this point I check out because I’ve never distilled.

I can tell you the clouds I got in my product were due to the above.

hey cyclo - i have a thread in extraction that should be ther about blends - can you toss it in the echo chamber?

I don’t think you read my whole comment. Its all good though.

That’s 100% syringe lube. I’ve ordered those same terps from 760glass in the past and they worked great. But they sent me some cheap plastic syringe that I used the first time and left the same streak. I just got some glass syringes and no issues. good luck! your carts look great minus the syringe lube.

all glass with the glass plunger, or glass with the rubber plunger.

@TheDuff11

even the plunger lubes will mix in…

pull back filled the plunger then squirt it back in the disty and stir it good from there…usually the first few times will get it all (now u can just smoke and who cares right lmao? I’m guessing that’s what I’ve did recently when using plastic carts hope its not poisonous)

also you could probably use hot ethanol and suck it up in it and wash the lubes off to begin w.

just make sure you dry the loading syringe good after putting alcohol in them

Guys just wanted to say thank you. Picked up some terps from a couple diff dudes on here and invested in a nice glass on glass syringe. These new carts i just made are crystal clear.
Definitely was those bum ass cheap plastic syringes.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to give a little input.
I appreciate you all

What terps did you end up liking the most?

I just got one of those glass-on-glass syringes for my next filling session.

Wondering if you need to smear something to the ground-glass to help it seal like one would with other glass joints or if it will be tight enough to push on it’s own.

I’ve never had issue with them sealing you just need to keep your thumb against the plunger so the weight of it doesn’t push the shit back out
