I’ve been running 81° and 58-60%. It’s been giving me around a 1.05-1.1 vpd.

Not really a plant pic but something I’m just really proud of. Here’s a sticky in one of my flower rooms in week 8. We put stickies in week 1 and have always had fungus gnats. Some runs early on in this facility the stickies would be almost completely covered in gnats by week 8. It’s been getting progressively better throughout the past year and we’ve finally improved to this point. Clean stickies! This is also with basically zero rootzone treatments.

What did you use to get rid of the gnats? Mosquito dunks are all I know.

I never did any form of hydro. But in soil, once I started adding mosquito bits to my soil I never had them again. Worked great.

I have to have the dunks, not really for gnats exactly, but rather the larvae, or some type of larvae. The eggs hatch in the root balls, maggots eat roots, damaged roots then get pythium and the plant suffers.

Throughout veg and up to week 3 the plants get sprayed with a mix of calcium and azaguard plus a wetting agent weekly. When I spray I hit the tops of the cubes a little bit so the gnat larvae living on the tops of the cubes get treated.

tanlin drops ( t drops) work very well also I like them over dunks in my opinion 1 to 2 drops per gallon

You have got that room stacked. Good work.

I’m curious what your training looks like from here

first flower run in like a year due to issues with plant health had to toss a bunch of stuff….got sick a few weeks ago and slacked off and let these plants get way too big before flipping that’s why it’s a jungle in here…feeding at 3.0 ec crop salt.

I thought you didn’t too when you was running your little room why the change? I might be mistaken though

I’m not sure what you mean?

Didn’t top* when crop steering I thought the plan was to let them go wild and de leaf? What training you doing and how many plants per light is what I’m trying to find out lol sorry about spelling I’m pretty gone rn

I haven’t heard about that stuff in years. They had to rescind their pesticide marketing claims, but I remember it worked well. Did it end up being chitosan?

Yep! tanlin is chitin extract … Interesting I did not know that, I guess it used to be called nilnat also. It works well for me , never have any issues this is also for home grows. I don’t know what regulations are for legal grows. everyone I know use benificial predatory insects (Stratiolaelaps Scimitus, Dalotia Coriaria Amblyseius Swirskii) to combat gnats or thrips
