Plant/ Flower pics

Just focusing on all the other animal and property related projects I currently have (and all the future ones I want to make myself have). Not smoking enough to really make me want to grow tbh. Happy being custied at this point. Seeing other people progress on grow projects still gets me as stoked as ever though! Just not something that I’m interested in doing myself currently.

What’s up with those fans you’re running around the perimeter of the room? They look like the ones used inside greenhouses.

Is there a particular reason you use them over regular wall fans?

They look much better than standard oscillating wall fans.

Also I have been reading up on the how/why of using A/C reheat versus standalone dehum units and it’s very interesting with lots of new terminology to get used to.

It seems like a lot of it boils down to whether or not the cooling coils in the different pieces of equipment have the same SHR (sensible heat ratio) as each other or not. There is a set of standard conditions that the HVAC industry uses as setpoints for testing this across different pieces of equipment and it’s usually listed on the equipment somewhere.

I’m still working through it all but from where I stand right now it seems like there shouldn’t be any inherent inefficiencies in standalone systems with a separate dehum over an integrated air-handler with reheat.

Can you further explain your experience with this? I think you said somewhere that you feel the integrated air-handler with reheat is wasteful.

Here is a link to an interesting article I found on the subject if anyone is interested:

Dehumidifiers vs. reheat for grow rooms…standalone dehumidifiers are not inefficient!

Autumn has arrived and the fall colors are off the hook in NW Montana. The different hues of red and yellow are popping.

Every so often the freebie seeds end up as keepers. Is this a keeper for you @Autumn_Ridge_Hemp ? Smoke report?

It’s OK. It was certainly worth what I paid  Buzz has a sativa touch to it.

I haven’t tried any other “sour” strains yet, so idk how to compare it. I just got an old seed pack of Sour Bogglegum, of the late BOG, so hopefully there is some good sour in there.

I raised my vpd, I was running the same vpd as I was using with cmh and it wasn’t right. What I see cmh is closer to the same vpd as led then it is hps.
