I’m almost certain it’s only 10 degrees maybe…
If your using 70% iso maybe…99% I don’t think so
We use to talk about this forever ago I believe @Soxhlet and others was telling me it’s not worth the few degrees, you have to change every gasket that hits acetone…
I use nothing but denatured and iso 99 forever…my ir pings out Lo every time, otherwise would still read if that big difference

Best you can get with 99% is -60. Acetone takes me to -105. I use to run 99%

Lots of filter media I was told more then a very short soak is bad for this process ? Better to run more tane
acetone wont be worth it once it becomes room temp/heats up. itll evap faster to atmosphere. we change out our cold traps at end of each week; just dump the ethanol out into a 'wash" bucket and once full we re-roto. and every few weeks re-roto all the ethanol with “proof up beads” to absorb the % water that’s left

vacuum jacketed storage tank going thru a 50ft SS injection coil straight into the material column where material was frozen to -71c before being loaded into the column (prolly heats up to say -10 - 0 c) before finished packing then vacced down and injection coil opened. I soak for 12-15mins 3.5-4lbs of material then run easily 5-6lbs per lb of material thru a 1um filter. 6" column when I used to run 4" columns less soak/tane was needed to get full soak/coverage
Can you prepack your columns to avoid condensation built up as you are packing your column
That was the biggest down fall i had from packing prefroze material at those temps
have never had issues tbh and we work 30mins from the ocean. we run dehumidifiers throughout the building though

To be honest i designed my own passive machine that just works well for my process. I run my own flower. which is grown with my tech. Nothing out of the realm of what everyone else is doing. just fuckin dialed

what is your wash process like? those are the whitest stones I’ve seen! I agree with @StoneD, you have it dialed in for sure. I get growth in 4 days, but nothing that size until 2-3 weeks
