Iāve been researching how to make resin and Iāve seen this thread mentioned a few times but is all this work to make diamonds nesseary to make resin?
I made some dark shatter so instead of purging and possibly destroying terps I left the slabs in the oven with no heat and no vac unpurged and after maybe a day and a half I stacked them onto one tray. After maybe a week I went to clean the shatter up and under a skin was the perfect resin.
Iām going to try and replicate this again

how cold do you run? I have a hard time getting my terps as light on the CLS as I was before open blasting, but this is because I was running a 6x1.5" tube and was able to soak it in a cooler at -1F. My temps never got above 1F the entire time and my terps were always yellow. Now that I canāt get my system in a cooler and my temps go higher, my color looks like yours.
Try running as fast as you can, and inject your solvent as cold as possible and it will help color. Also the age of your material plays a big roleā¦ I only run material thatās about a week old and this helps keep the color lighter too.

I did a soak like i would a normal shatter / butter run . My ig is @:theimaginationgardens my shatter is like vitamin water tropical citrus yellow lol. But when u make diamonds so far itās gotten dark.
Currently i honestly forgot to temp it but Iām betting it was -30/- 60 whole time
I run a pound / 1.5 pound closed column with 3 separate filters
Collect all solvents from jars
Jar into single jar
Jar into small mason jars
Super duper saturated ounces in a jar I guess
you can cut and pleat a round piece of ptfe sheet into a coffee filter shape. place this into a Round glass dish, then put inside the miner. If you get lucky with your jar sometimes the gas from burping can cause the crystal puck to break loose, I have had that happen on occasion.

Have you done the partch tech?
In miners yes, you donāt want to get the oil all over the walls because of product loss/ pain in the ass to clean.
Disadvantage is a diaper full of product, makes gramming the product interesting.

Upon separation, it gets darker. -30 to -60 isnt that cold. Is your material also frozen beforehand

How are you cooling, sounds like iso/ dry ice

Correct
Dry ice/acetone will get u substantially colder
Try cleaning your system

I would say starting material is the #1 factor if you are not using filter media.
