Ok Iām about to get one, I hope when gets here you might help walk me through, my crystals are big butt not huge, is there a paper filter or something to help keep from falling through, the only one I seen in top of looked like has big holes
I didnāt dewax my run either, Iāve had the jars sitting in a dry ice/Iso bath for 3 days and it just looks like a fat yellow jar of frozen cloudy yellow oil. Is the separation supposed to have already taken place? I see no separation, Did yours look like that? Is there something Iāve done wrong?

Your funnel is sized in mm or cm. Get the paper that fits eg. 50mm funnelā> 50mm or 5cm paper. I would buy several pore sizes of paper too, slow, med, fast.

Ok do I use more than one paper at time, but in the end the chunks crystals left on top the paper?
Put the paper over the top the bucher, turn vac on, set crystals w terps on top the paper, pour over the crystals

Place a paper into the funnel, wet it with solvent and turn on the vacuum source. Dump crystals in, spray them off with ice cold solvent while the suction is on. The goal is to wash the crystals, the vacuum removes anything from pooling and dissolving the crystals. Separate the terp fraction first before you do this.

Pour it off, crystals should be almost stuck to the bottom. Get your self a scoopula and go to town.
Take the paste of crystals and wash them on the filter. Might want to set up your filtration in a stryofoam ice chest full of dryice. Make sure your Etoh is dry ice cold, use a washbottle.

Non dewaxed high quality larf run, jars 2/3rds full off the pour from vessel, sitting in dry ice/iso bath nearly 4 days in, with no separation just a bright yellow cloudy translucent jar a little less full. Why so cloudy? Why no layers of separation? Too many waxes? Is the run compromised? Guess everyoneās done chiming in any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok what if I fuck up and left it on ptfe paper during the whole nucleation, nothing stuck, all together, most I can do is let some drain off somehow
Your gonna have to try and scrape it.

Ok I laid it out on paper, it absorb all the terps, kept flipping, have very dry now
Iām new to this but may be too much wax,I would always try to get as cold as possible to prevent
Waxes will not affect the crystallization.
