Any explanation as to why it’s not separating and just a translucent yellow all the way thru? I’ve had it in the cryo stage for almost four days, my starting mother liquid was a nice liquid consistency as well. Just kind of stumped at the moment
It could be that you have too much solvent, if you cannot lower the soulibility of the solution enough to get crystals that means you have more solvent than solute.

K just let sit at room temp for a bit to let more solvent evap off?

If that’s the case yes that will work, when your about 1/3rd tane left lid that stuff put on 85f no vac 2-4wks

Even if the crash phase never took place, I should let them sit at room temp, until enough solvent has evaporated off leaving the jars 1/3rd full? Than proceed as explained in directions? Isn’t the crash phase critical to the whole process?

Ok, first again I’m new to this but I catch on pretty quick, the freezer stage in beginning is just to get a layer of thcA on the bottom, mine never gathered into balls but I got thick layer, if you have to much solvent left then they saying it’s not letting that happen… Take picture

You was supposed to take the mother solution (every bit tane you collected, and when down to 2/3full from your starting point, then stick in the cryo dry ice, if you did too early it’s not letting the solute crash out the solvent… It be best to at least see what you got cooking

Ppl jar full spectrum just like this but don’t gather the thca first, you just get smaller crystals, the freezer step just gets bigger crystals bc your gathering every thing on bottom

Ok you need to go on to next step, that’s your layer, you have to much wax to make ball up or turn white I’m assuming, I can’t believe someone hasnt corrected me or agreed

My jar lids seal blew out not sure if that’s supposed to happen so I let out pressure and now in oven I just have what looks like Terp liquid but no crystals is it ruined only been in oven for 3 days how long until crystals form

I have been working with the Acetone method for this reason and prefer it now over the butane-pour.
Generally there isnt enough solvent to build enough pressure. But it depends on the size of thr vessel and the pour. Never use co2.

Ive got large clean crystals from non dewaxed at high pressure. The “dirty” is usually from terpenes getting stuck between the crystal lattice. Which happens when you move it. As long as you dont disturb it you should be able to pull clean crystals no matter what. IME the plant fats stay in the terpene fraction making it thicker.
