On the last day of each month we will announce the new Member of the Month. I will get the new poll for the month up at the beginning of the month, and nominations for candidates will stay open until the middle of the month. To be included in the poll, a user must receive at least one second after being nominated. The poll will close at 23:45 on the last day of the month.
Off topic conversations and tangents are totally cool, as they may inspire the recognition of someone who may have been overlooked, and they keep the thread active. Please try and refrain from negativity and mud slinging; I encourage you to start a separate thread or take it to the dm’s.
Let’s try to take this at least semi seriously and show some recognition for those working hard to help us all level up together. There are so many members offering knowledge bombs freely here, it can be hard to narrow it down to one each month. They all are winners in my eyes!

I hear you guys. I was thinking quarterly would be good, maybe a member of the season. It would definitely make it more special. On the other hand, shit show or not, there are people here doing things worthy of recognition all the time. I’ll think it over and see what @Future thinks about it.
In the meantime, it would be sweet to get a couple more nominations!
This forum used to have knowledge that was shared into an industry appreciating new ideas and ways to improve. I believe this place in now better known to slang barely legal drugs and to slang legal shit talking about how this industry actually is at a “finer” level. Member of the month was a little different than it is now. To be member of the month of this forum is almost an insult and at the same time a compliment because it means your ignoring all the B.S. and shit talking and are one of the few actually sharing knowledge. The real member of the month of forum is the person that makes this place what it used to be. That is less likely to be any of the moderators or forum runners because they are to busy with actual life. Maybe somebody someday will care about this forum like they did day one instead of abandoning this place like an aborted baby. You know who you are.
Naw, seriously @RockSteady is very deserving of this month’s MoM. At minimum for his printing of parts for various downfalls of the equipment we all use.
