New summit research max rotovap 80 LPH!?!?!?

stole grm labs post

Since @spdking is waiting for Quentin Tarantino to finish the movie he is working on to make his 80L/hr video and the rest of the parts to get shipped from China here is what killa was talking about. His custom spd unit with a rookie running it. The first day I was in the low 200 micron range and the I noticed I had a gl fitting that was loose. :man_facepalming:t2::rofl::rofl::rofl: I am confident that I can get this into single digits… Video is to big and its 3sec:man_facepalming:t2:

Xtractordepot has video on IG hitting 70/L an hour

Where? I don’t see it

Xtractionpros is the ig

You Wana post and then break down yalls video and claims of 70/LPH on ethyl on a dual condenser 50L?

Y’all been super vague and hush hush about it on IG. Why not step up in the place of Elliot’s foolishness ?

Most of the video that was posted is if a roto fluttering in motion. It’s not really …impressive. the fluttering masks any real speeds considered … My 2 cents.

The video doesn’t really do what we are looking for (timelapse showing actual bulk amount recovered).

Hey Siosis, I’ll have my team post the video today on IG! We’ve been testing our new Xeno chillers with it so we can release the affordable turnkey package together. Once the last bit of our C1D1 room is finished, you’ll see way more videos from my XtractorPros team explaining our products and tech more.

The IG pages are @xtractorpros and @xtractordepot

We need to shoot a new video to be able to show a time-lapse video but I’ve made it a policy to now record videos with one of our go-pro devices during the entire duration of the test so people can see how we test the unit to get the speeds we can claim. We’ve been able to get the same results of ~70L/hour a few times tho so let me get my guys on this.

Vinmo allows long vids and will give you a link.

Bruh come on you have had a month at least it’s doing what he claims

I checked out said video, and barring a new video that @ChangMinXD says will be out… I kind of have to agree with @spdking here to an extent.

The video only shows the condensers on the unit without any evidence in the video of their claim. Just seeing a large amount of ethanol on the condensers doesn’t give validation of a throughput speed, you cant even see the receiving flasks in the video. Also, the video seems to claim it’s a 50L roto, which would not be a head to head with a 20L (summit is likely exaggerating but its not good science to compare a 50L to a 20L)

Also they said in the comments that the bath temp was 120c. Idk about you guys but I would never run a roto bath that hot, that’s entering decarb temps.

@ChangMinXD if I’m misinterpreting your IG post I will gladly and honorably take the correction, but at face value the video being referenced is not what I consider valid evidence of 70L/he under normal operating conditions.

I want summit to prove his claims, but I’m not going to support other loose claims just to try and denounce summit.

Yes i agree that video isn’t proof of anything.

Ensured. You will be pleasantly shocked how it runs at mild temps. 120c is insane.

Finally we can agree on something :joy:

At least your decarbed right outta the roto. :joy::rofl:

They should market their rotos as “combination solvent recovery-decarboxlyation rotary evaporator extraordinaire” and charge double
