Tried everything the fittings are shit at the BF mate , we where getting less than 200 at the cow and as soon as we connect up the BF the best we can get is 375 that’s even with shit loads of PTFE tape
I found greasing the joints to be best.

Done that cleaned ,even removed grease acetoned the joint then regreased

Ok bro , at the mains at the mo , nice honey colour and consistency , just hoping it carries on coming over , waiting for obvious colour change , before we switch to tails , can’t understand why the vac had stayed pretty constant from start to finish anyway it’s working whatever we have done hahaha

Well you probably cleaned well or decarbed fairly hot having a lot of terps disappear

Is it only cooler you bought @Thelabrat? i did the same mistake, @Roguelab was kind enough to show my mistake of getting a chiller not able to go above 50 degrees.

@superhotgen take @Roguelab coffe offer im sure u wont regret, and before purchase anything. Talk to david for a wide bore setup, i also bought cheap china glass in beginning in a complete setup, lots of scratches all over, like sitting on shelf rolling around for years. so needed to change out alot anyway, should have purchased seperately from the beginning. - im receiving my glassware from david around tuesday.

It’s a heater to be honest 0-100c so I’ve been running between 50-85c tonight plus I’ve used a hair dryer at some point to get things flowing

you still need it hotter if u ever want to do the hot condensor tech from breaking dabs, but also need other glassware also kindly advised to me from Rogue. Bought the julabo to have the both options. many auctions in the uk for lab equipment btw

I’ve spent too much so will have to persevere with what I’ve got for now , trying to source therm inlet adapters in the UK due to the hrs spent getting the vac down last night to an acceptable level .
Not happy with first pass 109g but smells a bit , I was convinced there was a colour change ( tails ) but my friend thought the THC was still coming over so ,smells a bit hahaha more work to do to clean up.

Team any idea , how I can improve the setup by purchasing glass wear of David , thinking of cone fittings maybe where the thermocouples go , is this a possibilty to eradicate these leaks ? Does he sell receiver cows and flasks too

you could improve by going wide bore, change out cow to 1 receivingg flask, and instead of random chinese glassware with universe of uknowns, you get chinese glassware well cared for by david and he want you to succeed.
He can make you custom stuff to on your request
I will too be happy when my first run is made, run it again if needed, luckily thats an option to keep doing.
