I feel like it happens quite a bit more in this industry though. Iāve had my share of poor attempts at dodging our tabs. None have been successful.

I can name a couple hundred but no real point to that. Excuses are definitely there depending on the account. You can always ask to pick your goods up and at that point itās up to you to let it sit and be in store or not at all. Itās a bitch and have accepted consignment terms with others on my end, rather have it sit on a shelf than sit in storage but to each their own.
It would be lovely if we all got it sold and paid same day, itās not like the retailer doesnāt want to be selling much larger volumes of every product they carry. Not saying its fair but itās game 
.

I agree for the most part. There seems to be a lot more unscrupulous characters/ businesses in the cannabis space though. That could be because of the type of people it attracts or the fact a lot of operators have no experience in the ārealā business world.
Only thing you can do is get your customers and do right by them. Generally if you go out of your way for someone they will feel morally obligated to do right by your as well. Same applies to business

Broken knee caps and 1 way fishing trips are included in the weed business. Not so much with the rest of businesses in the country. If there were more of that there would be less open tabs out there.

Legalization problems. It definitely happens more in this industry and people are lucky when communication is maintained or re-established. Itās a general part of this industry that seems to be not understood. That people who are hungry will go feed themselves if they arenāt fed.
Iāll never forget the unlicensed (told everyone they were getting approved for license and able to work) not paying. All of a sudden they had no product and had to explain that to their suppliers. 
Whatās that you donāt wanna owe employees? Then you gonna owe people who you promised splits with. One bad debt can snowball.
